Letter-to-the-Chancellor
Malagar
Chancellor of the University
University of the Philippines – Cebu
Greetings.
We are writing to formally request permission to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) at
the University of the Philippines – Cebu SRP Campus.
We are Master of Science in Environmental Science students currently enrolled in Environmental Impact
Assessment (ENS 290) under Mr. Jeriel T. Bersano, MSc. As a final requirement for the course, we are
tasked with conducting an EIA on either a hypothetical or actual project. Given that the university is
constructing a new dormitory at the SRP Campus, we believe assessing this project would be both
meaningful and beneficial to the UP community.
In line with this, we kindly seek permission to conduct the EIA, including access to all necessary documents
required for a comprehensive assessment. Once completed, the findings of the EIA will be forwarded to the
university for potential use and reference.
We appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to your positive response. Please let us know
if further details or formalities are required. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to message
us at (0917) 677 1939, or any of the proponents indicated below.
Sincerely,
