Present Tenses (Present Simple)
Usage: Describes habitual actions, universal truths,
or general facts.

Structure: Subject + Verb (base form) + Object

Example: The sun rises in the east.


Present Tenses (Present Continuous)
Usage: Describes actions happening now or
temporary situations.

Structure: Subject + is/am/are + Verb (-ing) +


Object

Example: He is writing a letter.


Present Tenses (Present Perfect)
Usage: Describes actions completed at an unspecified
time or continuing into the present.

Structure: Subject + has/have + Past Participle +


Object

Example: She has visited London twice.

Continuous)
Usage: Describes actions that started in the past and
continue into the present.
