Recovering emails using the Email Recovery Add-in:

1. Sign in to your account via https://outlook.live.com/owa

2. Click on the gear icon on the upper right hand and hit “View full settings”
3. Under Mail, go to Customize actions and make sure that “Get Add-ins” is selected and hit save

4. Go back to your Inbox and open one of your emails. On the upper right hand, click on the email
recovery add in icon

5. Search for Email Recovery

6. Hit Add
7. After the add-in has been added, refresh your account by hitting F5 on your keyboard or right
click then refresh. Open one of your emails in your Inbox and then click on the drop-down arrow
on the upper right hand and you should now be able to see the Email Recovery – click on it to
launch

8. Start the recovery process!

9. A new folder will be created for the recovered item

10. Repeat the same steps to recover the contents of the Purges bin.
