Procedure

1- 0.6 g benzoic acid


2- 0.3 g salicylic acid

Grind
Levigate with 2ml of
liquid paraffin

Mortar

Procedure
1) 0.6 wool fat
2) 2.4 g Hard paraffin
Porcelain 3) 1 g White soft paraffin
Dish 4) 4 ml liquid paraffin

Water Bath Melt

Remove from bath then stir


Add the 9.1 g of base to mortar content
with stirring

Procedure: 2nd term 24/2025

1- In a mortar put 0.6 g of benzoic acid and 0.3 g of salicylic acid


and grind then will levigate with 2ml of liquid paraffin
2- Put a dish on water bath and put in it 0.6 g of wool fat, wait
until complete melting then add to it 2.4 of hard paraffin.
3- After melting, add 1g white soft paraffin, after melting add to
them 4 ml of liquid paraffin.
4- Remove from flame and stir until being semisolid.
5- Add dish content to mortar content gradually, then send the
preparation.

2) 5 g soft paraffin

3) Remove from bath then stir


4) Levigate the mortar content
with part of the melted base.
5) Then add all the base to the mortar & stir well.
