Photopea Magazine Cover Design Activity

Activity Overview

In this activity, students will use Photopea to design a magazine cover based on a theme of their choice. This

task will help them practice layout design, image manipulation, and working with text layers creatively.

Steps to Complete the Activity

1. Choose a theme for your magazine (see examples below).

2. Open Photopea and create a new project (850 x 1100 px, portrait).

3. Add a main image that matches your theme.

4. Design your magazine title and 3-5 headlines.

5. Use layers, text styles, and effects to enhance your design.

6. Add extra elements like barcodes, stickers, or background filters.

7. Export your final cover as a JPG or PNG.
