Shop mechanical kits

Main features
Shop mechanical kits are mechanical tool kits designed for making optimal service and
overhaul on your Atlas Copco rigs, loaders and trucks underground. Quality tools have been
selected to suit all your needs in any type of situation. There are three different kits that can
be ordered individually or as one number to simplify the ordering process and logistics. All
the parts in the kits can be ordered individually.

The shop mechanical kits consists of:

• General tool kit

• Metric tool kit
• Imperial tool kit
Shop mechanical kits - Specification

The general tool kit consists of a variety of useful quality tools. The metric and the imperial tool kits have the same set
up but consists of quality tools in metric only, versus imperial only.

All the parts are stored in solid metal boxes with drawers that can be extended. The metal boxes can be locked with
a supplied key and is also equipped with heavy-duty handles making it easy to carry and transport all tools from the
workshop down to a production area.

Comments from Gunde Persson - Chief Mechanic, Lovisa Mine, Sweden:

“- Both the high torque kits and the shop mechanical

kits are high quality tool kits. They are a very big help
to keep good structure among my tools. You see directly
if you miss any tools and you can also find the tool you
are looking for very fast. I also like that you can lock the
boxes. I have full trust in my colleagues but sometimes
they tend to forget to return the tools they have grabbed
and that can be annoying, especially if you are making a
repair on a machine in a breakdown situation deep down
in the mine and cannot find the tool you are looking for.”

Gunde is also working on some plans to make adjustments of the box for his pick up truck. “- I am
thinking of mounting the shop mechanical kit boxes on the box of my pick up truck. Then I will make
sure I always have access to the tools wherever I go”.
