The following provisions govern the Scrutiny of answer papors
(1) A successful candidate may apply to the Board within 15 days from the date of publication of the
provisional results through the Head of the Institution for a Scrutiny of Answer Paper on payment of
Rs. 40.00 only per paper and not per subject clearly stating that the sum is being paid for the purpose of
Scrutiny.
(2) The work of Scrutiny shall be confined to checking and re-totalling of the marks. It shall not involve
re- examination i.e. fresh evaluation of the answers.
REVIEW OF ANSWER PAPERS (PPR)
The following provisions govern the Review of answer papers
(1) Only an unsuccessful candidate may apply to the Board within 15 days from the date of publication of the
provisional results through the Head of the Institution for review of his/her answer papers on payment of a
fee of Rs. 50.00 only per paper expressly stating that the sum is being paid for the purpose of Review.
The application will otherwise be rejected.
(2) The work of review will include scrutiny and re-examination j.e. fresh evaluation of the answers.
N.B.: Neither the candidate nor any one on his/her behalf will be entitled to be present during the
Scrutiny or Review or will have any right to inspect the answer paper.
The result of the scrutiny/review shall be intimated to the candidate concerned through the school.
MODE OF APPLICATION
The application for Scrutiny / Review should be made on plain paper and submitted to the Head of the
Institution along with the requisite fees in cash within the stipulated time.
Application sent direct to the Board will not be accepted and fees remitted direct to the Board shall be forfeited.
