Create corrective Notification (Planed) – IW21

Definition:-

Corrective maintenance activities requested through


Notification will be planned and part of the day to day
workload of any maintenance department.

Its two primary purposes are


Request maintenance for technical object (equipment
or functional location)
Record the history of the maintenance performed to
rectify the reported problem.

Priorities are mentioned in the maintenance


notification. Normally following priorities are used.
ƒ High
ƒ Medium
ƒ Low

Prerequisite:-

Maintenance master data must be available.

Menu Path:-

Logistics → Plant Maintenance → Maintenance


processing → Notification → IW21 – Create (General)

Double click IW21

Enter Notification type


Click

Maintain the following fields

ƒ Description
ƒ Equipment
ƒ Planner group
ƒ Subject and description
Click

Maintain priority
Click

Message appear at the bottom
