The product is arranged in order of fruits and vegetables, together the same
types, almost everything looks clean and good.

They look good, they have good aspect, just a few percentage of the fruits and
vegetables have any imperfection, and the imperfections are very small, as a little
part of another colour, or a little lump…

In the case of the post we went the vegetables they have are produced by them, the
fruits are bought to farmers and some organizations.

5. Ask them what criteria / standard they have in order to decide what they can
sell and what not.

The criteria/standard they need to know what they can sell and what not is:
- Be clean and well looking - Normal size
- Be edible and not rotten
6. What is what the customers value the most when they buy these products?

The product the customers value the most when they are going to buy products is
the artichoke.

7. What percentage (approximately) of the fruit and vegetables they don’t sell?

The approximate percentage of fruits and vegetables they don’t sell is between 2
and 3 percentage.

8. What do they do with the products they don’t sell?

With the products they don’t sell they usually give to people that need it or animals
in a bad situation, in the case they cannot do any of those options they throw
them.

a. What is the percentage of benefit they obtain if they sell the product by
themselves?

They don’t know exactly the percentage of benefit they obtain if they sell the
product by themselves, but they have a major/positive benefit because in the
opposite case they wouldn’t win money and the business wouldn’t thrive.

b. What is the percentage of benefit they obtain if they sell the product to a
supermarket or other shop?

They don’t know what is the percentage of benefit they obtain if they sell the
product to a supermarket or shop, but they know that the commissions are
about the 5 percentage.

c. What is the criteria / standard required to sell your product in a


supermarket?

The criteria / standard required to sell the product to a supermarket is similar


to the standard they need to have to sell products to the customers, they have
to be well looking and with good quality?

d. Why are the names of the villages inside out?

The names of some villages are inside out because is a way to protest and
show disagreement with the decisions the government and the actual situation
is.
