CONFIRMATION MASS

BISHOP:
With confidence in God's goodness and his promise to hear our prayers, let us
present our petitions to him.

DEACON:

1) For the Church, may God bless her with many selfless missionaries to spread
the Gospel, let us pray to the Lord.
2) For government leaders, may the Lord inspire them in seeking justice for the
most vulnerable members of society, let us pray to the Lord.
3) For the oppressed and afflicted, may their experience of Gods love invoke
in them a recognition of their human dignity, let us pray to the Lord.
4) For the assembly and the Confirmands gathered here, may the Holy Spirit
lead and strengthen us in our efforts to carry out the spiritual and corporal
works of mercy, let us pray to the Lord.
5) For our beloved dead, may Jesus welcome them to his heavenly wedding
feast, let us pray to the Lord.

BISHOP:
God our Father, in your mercy we ask you to hear the prayers we offer you.
