Dulce et Decorum Est

Wilfred Owen depicts how war really is and how it crashes soldiers’ soul, he clearly
shows the sentence “Dulce et Decorum Est” meaning it is sweet to die for your country
is not true and war is not sweet its not honorable and its not brave. War is hell and
destroys the soul of the soldiers forever. He also mentions the unbearable shame and
guilt the soldiers feel for surviving while their brothers and friends have been killed in
front of their eyes.
