RE: LEAGUES AND COMPETITIONS

Dear Members,

The above subject matter refers;

The FKF National Executive committee in a meeting held on November 11, 2020,
and in an effort to ensure the wholesome development of football resolved to
adopt the following;

a) Women Leagues
i. Adoption of a unified WPL league, beginning 2021/2022 season, comprising of 12 clubs
ii. Adoption of a zonal second tier league to comprise of 24 Teams (12 in Zone A and 12 in
Zone B) from 2021/22 Season.
iii. Adoption of the inception of a third tier Women Regional League from 2020/21 Season.

b) Cups
i. Adoption on the commencement of the FKF Women Cup Tournament from 2020/21
Season.
ii. Adoption on the inception of Super Cup match (League Winners and FKF Cup Winners)
from 2021/22 Season.
iii. Adoption on the inception of the FKF Super 16 Cup, comprising of eight top teams from
the FKF PL and Eight Top teams from the NSL from 2020, 2021

Additionally, the NEC also resolved that fees for the below FKF leagues be
uniformly revised as follows, beginning the 2020/2021 season;
