A blog (a truncation of "weblog") is a discussion or informational website published on the
World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries (posts). Posts
are typically displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first,
at the top of the web page.

date

How blogs work?

Blogs are often updated daily and reflect the personality and views of a blogger.
And Blog content is often referred to as entries or “blog posts”. Blogs are typically
run by an individual or a small group of people to present information in a
conversational style. Blog sites-for example, blogging network
(www.bloggingnetwork.com) and (www.blogger.com) provide information about
how you can create and maintain your own web log for a small fee. Some
examples of blogs related to Ethiopia are:

(i) www.bottomlysandethiopia.blogspot.com
(ii)journeytonumberthree.blogspot.com

#How Social Networking Works ?

This is done through the use of social networking sites, such as Facebook,
Instagram, and Twitter. These sites allow people and corporations to connect with
one another so they can develop relationships and so they can share information,
ideas, and messages.

Social networking is commonly used by marketers to increase brand recognition

and encourage brand loyalty.
For example, a frequent Twitter user may learn about a company for the first time
through a news feed and decide to buy a product or service. The more exposed
people are to a company’s brand, the greater the company's chances of finding
and retaining new customers.

#Advantage
• Allows people to connect with others, including friends and family
• Companies can reach new and existing clients as well as build and improve
their brand name
• Corporations can demonstrate their customer service

#Disadvantage
• Helps spread misinformation
• Complaints about companies can spread and create public relations issues
• Costs to advertise and develop corporate profiles can be high
