METHOD STATEMENT FOR STONE PITCHING
1. Excavate and trim slope using machinery or manual.
2. Protect excavated area with PE sheets end of the day and lay temporary pipe culvert to prevent blockage during rainfall. The excavation works shall be as specified in the drawing. 3. Lay 50mm thk wet mortar. 4. Install weephole 75mm dia. PVC at 2m c/c grid together with ± 25mm aggregate wrapped with non- woven geotextile. 5. Install dowelbar T12 at 1m grid, 1m length with 700mm embedment. 6. Import and compact rock, construct average 230mm thick stone pitching comprising of block stone 6” x 9” at slope surface pointed with jointed in cement and sand (1:3) mortar.
