Creating Text
1. Basic Text Entry
o Simply click where you want to insert text and start typing. Word will
automatically wrap text to fit within the page margins.
2. Text Formatting
o Font: Change the font type, size, and color using the Font group on the Home
tab.
o Bold, Italic, Underline: Use the B, I, and U buttons to apply these common
text styles.
o Highlighting: Use the Text Highlight Color tool to highlight text.
o Text Effects: Apply text effects like shadow, reflection, and glow.
Paragraph Formatting
1. Alignment and Indentation
o Alignment: Align text left, center, right, or justify using the Paragraph group
on the Home tab.
o Indentation: Increase or decrease paragraph indentations. Use the ruler or the
Indent buttons.
o Line and Paragraph Spacing: Adjust line spacing and add space before or
after paragraphs.
2. Bullets and Numbering
o Bulleted and Numbered Lists: Quickly create lists using the Bullets and
