It was in 2022 that I had the most memorable beach trip of my life. An unforgettable memory
with my family was made on an astonishing island with a perfect, serene atmosphere. The trip
was post-pandemic, and the restrictions were eased slightly. My family made sure that we made
the most of our overnight trip.
In February 2022, we stayed at a beach resort in Siruma. Kiudkad is the name of the place, we
booked the blakhaws as our accommodation. The place itself is very beautiful and really a
one-of-a-kind type of resort. But what’s more fascinating about our trip is the local people in
Siruma, they are very approachable and make sure that our stay will really make us go back to
the resort. Before the trip, we make sure that we are packed and ready. We booked December
2021 and anticipated it for almost 2 months. During the trip, I can say that I was the most
adventurous person in our family. The moment that we arrived at the resort, I already headed out
to the shore by myself, as I was so excited to see the waves and the fine sand, and of course I
chased the sunset during the time. Since I was so rushed to go to the beach, I forgot my phone
and did not even take a picture of the breathtaking sunset view during that afternoon. I noticed
that during our stay on the island, there were quite a few people already. It was to assess that it
was already post-pandemic, and this type of business in the tourism sector seems to have
recovered from the effects of the pandemic in the previous year. However, I can say that the
pandemic has a big negative impact on tourism since the virus can be transmitted through the air
and we are locked in our houses. No tourist equals no tourism or low economic growth in terms
of our local tourism. But on the other hand, the pandemic has also become a way to rehabilitate
abused local tourist spots. Anyways, on our last day during our stay at the resort, we just spent it
on the shore and bonded together by cooking and playing games. We also took a lot of photos as
a memory of how great the trip was.
My 2022 beach trip to Siruma was an unforgettable experience that included adventure,
family togetherness, and recovery from pandemic restrictions. Staying at the fascinating Kiudkad
resort allowed us to reconnect with one another while also appreciating the island's natural
beauty and friendly locals. Despite the pandemic's issues, which had previously affected tourism,
our visit represented a hopeful comeback in the industry. The trip's still impression is a reminder
of the joy found in everyday moments, shared laughter, and treasured memories.
