IV. PROCEDURES
A. Review/Introductory - The teacher directs learners’ attention on the following sentences. The learners will
Activity be given flash cards with verbs written on it. Let them post on the board the correct
verbs to complete the sentences.

1. Mang Pedro is a fisherman. He ________ fishing every day.

- Have a short review by letting the learners act out the given verbs.

B. Activity/ Motivation - Prepare the learners for a short game.

Game:Verb Charades or Pictionary

One player acts out or draws a verb in the simple present tense
(e.g.,”running”,”eating”,”sleeping”).The other learners will guess the verb.

C. Analysis/Presenting - The teacher lets the class read the short poem below.
