JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF TWO DISINTERESTED PERSONS

We, MARY GRACE D. BESA, of legal age, Filipino, married, and


resident of Brgy. Tincupon, Panitan, Capiz, and JOSEPHINE D. CABIDOG, of
legal age, Filipino, married, and a resident of Pob. Ilawod, Panitan, Capiz
after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and
state that:

1. We know REBECA D. DATILES, who was born on August 05, 1970,


daughter of Spouses LUCITA DETONING DORADO and FEDERICO DAYAL
DATILES at Panitan, Capiz;

2. Her birth was not duly registered in the Local Civil Registry, but she was baptized
at the Parish of St. Lawrence, Panitan, Capiz on January 9, 1971. Copy of the
Baptismal Certificate is hereto attached as Annex “A”.

3. She has siblings, namely: Ferdinand, Redela, all surnamed Datiles whose birth
were duly registered in the Local Civil Registry of Panitan, Capiz. Copy of the
Birth Certificate is hereto attached as Annex “B” and “C”, respectively.

4. She is also married to Joven A. Benetiz which marriage has been duly registered
in the Local Civil Registry with Registry No. 98-29. Copy of the Certificate of
Marriage is hereto attached as Annex “D”.

5. Unfortunately, her mother’s name was erroneously entered into her Baptismal
Certificate, Certificate of Live Birth of her siblings and her marriage contract.

6. In her Baptismal Certificate, her mother’s first name was erroneously entered as
“ROSITA”; in the Certificate of Live Birth of Ferdinand, the mother’s name was
erroneously entered as “ENECITA”; in the Certificate of Live Birth of Redela, the
mother’s name was erroneously entered as “ROSITA” ; and in her Certificate of
Marriage, her mother’s name was also erroneously entered as “ROSITA”.

7. In truth and in fact, her mother’s true and correct name is “”LUCITA” as
appearing in her other government and private records.

8. Nevertheless, “ROSITA” as appearing in her Baptismal Certificate, “ROSITA” as


appearing in the Certificate of Live Birth of her brother Ferdinand, “ENECITA” as
appearing in the Certificate of Live Birth of her sister Redela, “ROSITA” as
appearing in her Certificate of Marriage, and LUCITA which is the true and
correct name of her mother refers to ONE and the same person.

9. We have firsthand knowledge of the foregoing facts because we were neighbors


for the longest time.

10. We are not related by affinity or consanguinity to the above-mentioned person;

11. We are executing this Affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing facts and to
prove that the true correct mother’s name of Rebecca Datiles is “LUCITA”, and
to prove that “ROSITA” as appearing in her Baptismal Certificate, “ROSITA” as
appearing in the Certificate of Live Birth of her brother Ferdinand, “ENECITA” as
appearing in the Certificate of Live Birth of her sister Redela, “ROSITA” as
appearing in her Certificate of Marriage, and LUCITA efers to ONE and the
same person.
