1. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to
ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and
customer-specific requirements. Develop and enforce quality control processes to
monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
2. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement
corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues. Use tools such as Six Sigma,
Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis to identify and eliminate defects, reduce
waste, and improve overall efficiency.
3. Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor the quality of materials and
components supplied by external vendors. Establish supplier quality metrics, conduct
audits, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supplier
performance.
4. Product Quality Control: Develop and implement quality inspection procedures to
ensure that products meet design specifications and customer expectations. Conduct in-
process and final product inspections, perform functional testing, and analyze test
results to identify and address quality issues.
5. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for
customer quality inquiries, feedback, and complaints. Work closely with customers to
understand their quality requirements, address concerns, and ensure customer
satisfaction.
6. Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to production personnel on
quality standards, inspection techniques, and quality control procedures. Foster a culture
of quality throughout the organization by promoting awareness of quality goals and best
practices.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) for electronic products. Stay updated on
relevant regulations and standards and ensure that manufacturing processes and
products adhere to legal requirements.
8. Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive
continuous improvement initiatives and achieve quality objectives. Monitor key
performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to track and improve quality
performance over time.
