Please remember that tutorials will be on Monday and Homebase on Tuesday. Parent Teacher Conferences are this Tuesday, March 20. School will end at 12:00 so be sure to arrange for transportation off campus at that time. ATAC and AFAC after-school activities are cancelled on Tuesday due to the conferences. MAP testing continues this week. Remember to get good rest and eat healthy food so you can come prepared to do your best. This Saturday, March 24 there will be a Service Learning trip to PAWS. Friday Strings Extravaganza


On Friday, March 23, in the Middle School Courtyard at 3:00-3:30 P.M., the Middle School String Orchestra (Grades 5-8) will present Strings Extravaganza. This is an outdoor musical performance featuring pieces such as "Mamma Mia", "Lada Gaga Hit Mix", and "James Bond Theme". I look forward to seeing you there! Mr. Odendaal

ISM Goodwill Gymnastics Meet: March 10th: Thanks to all our fantastic gymnasts and parents who competed and assisted with the Goodwill Meet last Saturday. See meet results for our gymnasts included in this bulletin. Some photos from the meet have also been posted to the gymnastics page on the ATAC blog. For 3rd Season IASAS athletes please note passports will need to be submitted prior to the break (week of March 19 -23) for documentation checking. Any student traveling during the spring break must advise Joan at ATAC office so passports can be returned before March 29th. Bearcat den meeting: the next bi-monthly meeting of the Bearcat Den volunteers is to be held Friday March 23 at 10:30am in the cafeteria. If you are interested in joining the den please come along to meet our volunteers. This weekend our girls/boys badminton teams travel to Taipei for pre-IASAS competition and our boys softball team travel to Bangkok for a tournament. The trips are great preparation for the upcoming IASAS Championships after the break. Send off assembly for 3rd season IASAS participants is March 28th followed immediately by the parents lunch at the HS courtyard. All IASAS team members must attend! Due to MS Parent/Teacher conferences Tuesday March 20th there will not be any ATAC or AFAC MS activities due to the early student dismissal at 12noon. Please note the MS track team will practice on Wednesday March 21st after school to replace Tuesdays missed session. 3rd Season: Season practices schedules for (Track and Field, Badminton, Softball for MS and HS students and Mixed Touch for MS students only) are now posted to the blog and are on school notice boards. Please note the game schedule does change often due to involvement with many local schools so please check the page regularly to find out the latest information of where and when the Bearcats teams are playing. BEARCAT DEN: Regular Opening Hours for the Bearcat Den: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 11:30 A.M. 1:00 P.M. & 2:30 P.M. 4:00 P.M. Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, from 2:30 - 4:00 P.M. If you are interested in joining our group of volunteers in the Bearcat Den, please contact our BCD volunteers coordinator, Radhika at [email protected] or pop in to the Den near the HS Cafeteria and talk with one of our volunteers.
