31 Days of Gratitude Towards God

Day 1
Thank God for the breath in your lungs.
Genesis 2:7 – 'Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.'

Day 2
Reflect on a moment you felt unworthy, yet God’s grace embraced you.
2 Corinthians 12:9 – 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in
weakness.'

Day 3
Praise God for the beauty of sunrise and sunset.
Psalm 19:1 – 'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His
hands.'

Day 4
Thank Him for providing even when you didn’t know how.
Philippians 4:19 – 'And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory
in Christ Jesus.'

Day 5
Recall a time when God used someone to uplift you.
Proverbs 27:17 – 'As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.'

Day 6
Praise God for protecting you from dangers you never saw.
Psalm 91:4 – 'He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.'

Day 7
Thank Him for a specific prayer He answered in an unexpected way.
Jeremiah 33:3 – 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things
you do not know.'

Day 8
Reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus and His love for you.
Romans 5:8 – 'But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.'
Day 9
Praise Him for guiding your steps when you were lost.
Proverbs 3:5-6 – 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart... and He will make your paths
straight.'

Day 10
Thank God for healing you, physically or emotionally.
Psalm 103:3 – 'He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.'

Day 11
Recall a time you sinned but received His mercy.
Lamentations 3:22-23 – 'Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His
compassions never fail.'

Day 12
Praise Him for the wisdom He has given you in decisions.
James 1:5 – 'If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God... and it will be given to you.'

Day 13
Thank Him for moments of joy that refreshed you.
Nehemiah 8:10 – 'The joy of the Lord is your strength.'

Day 14
Reflect on how His Word has comforted you.
Psalm 119:105 – 'Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.'

Day 15
Praise Him for His patience when you doubted.
2 Peter 3:9 – 'The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise... He is patient with you.'

Day 16
Thank God for a storm He brought you through.
Isaiah 43:2 – 'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.'

Day 17
Reflect on how He has shaped your character through trials.
Romans 5:3-4 – 'Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character,
hope.'

Day 18
Praise Him for His unseen ways of showing love.
Romans 8:28 – 'In all things, God works for the good of those who love Him.'
Day 19
Thank Him for the times He calmed your fears.
Isaiah 41:10 – 'Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.'

Day 20
Reflect on a moment you felt His presence.
Psalm 16:11 – 'You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your
presence.'

Day 21
Praise God for the beauty of creation as His masterpiece.
Colossians 1:16 – 'All things have been created through Him and for Him.'

Day 22
Thank Him for giving you a purpose in life.
Jeremiah 29:11 – 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord.

Day 23
Reflect on how He used your struggles to bless others.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – 'God... comforts us so that we can comfort those in trouble.'

Day 24
Praise God for never giving up on you.
Deuteronomy 31:8 – 'The Lord Himself goes before you... He will never leave you nor
forsake you.'

Day 25
Thank Him for the community of believers in your life.
Hebrews 10:24-25 – 'Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and
good deeds.'

Day 26
Reflect on how He provided rest for your soul.
Matthew 11:28 – 'Come to me, all who are weary... and I will give you rest.'

Day 27
Praise God for being unchanging.
Hebrews 13:8 – 'Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.'

Day 28
Thank Him for His discipline that helps you grow.
Hebrews 12:11 – 'No discipline seems pleasant at the time... but it produces a harvest of
righteousness.'
Day 29
Reflect on a miracle you’ve witnessed.
Psalm 77:14 – 'You are the God who performs miracles.'

Day 30
Praise Him for the hope of eternity.
Revelation 21:4 – 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or
mourning.'

Day 31
Thank God for being your closest friend and Father.
John 15:15 – 'I have called you friends, for everything I learned from my Father I have made
known to you.'
