ADDENDUM – NOTICE TO CANDIDATES

published on 25.01.2020, Vacancy No. 20010201125, Item No. 01 with closing date of
submission of Online Application being 23:59 Hrs. on 13.02.2020 for Recruitment to 37
posts of Medical Officer/Research Officer (Ayurveda) in Ministry of AYUSH and (ii) Advt. No.
12/2019, published on 28.09.2019, Vacancy No. 19091204128, Item No. 04 with closing
date of submission of Online Application being 23:59 Hrs. on 17.10.2019 for Recruitment
to 09 posts of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) in Directorate of AYUSH, Health & Family Welfare
Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
The Commission have decided to conduct a COMBINED COMPUTER BASED
RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) for short-listing the candidates for the above mentioned posts
on 20.12.2020 (SUNDAY) (AFTERNOON SESSION) from 02.00 P.M to 04.00 P.M
(CANDIDATE’S REPORTING TIME AT EXAM CENTRE IS 12.30 P.M.) as under. Only
those candidates shortlisted in Combined CBRT and who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of
the post shall be called for interview.

(a) The test will be of two hours duration.

(b) All questions will carry equal marks.

(c) The test will be objective type questions with
Chennai 12 multiple choices of answer.
Delhi 08 (d) The medium of the test will be both English and

Jaipur 11 (e) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every
Jammu 34 wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the
Kochi 24 marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked
Kolkata 06 for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.
Lucknow 26 (f) The level of the question paper will be of the
Mumbai 05 degree in Ayurveda of a recognized University.
Nagpur 13 (g) The test will carry a maximum of 300 marks.

following topics which are normally included in the
B.A.M.S (AYURVEDA) programme of the Indian
Universities.

Sangraha, RachnÁ ÏÁrÍra, KéyÁ ÏÁrÍra, Rasa ÏÁstra
evaṃ BheÐajya KalpanÁ, DravyaguÆa VijñÁna, Agada
tantra, VyavahÁra Àyurveda evaṃ Vidhi Vaidyaka,
Roga VijñÁna evaṃ Vikriti VijñÁna, Caraka SaṃhitÁ,
Swastha Vétta, KÁya CikitsÁ, Shalya Tantra, ShÁlÁkya
Tantra, PrasÚti Tantra evaṃ StrÍroga, KaumÁra
Bhétya.
NOTE-I: INTIMATION ABOUT VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST WILL BE
COMMUNICATED TO THE CANDIDATES IN DUE COURSE.
NOTE-II: COMBINED CBRT AND THE INTERVIEW SHALL CARRY A 75:25 WEIGHTAGE
FOR THOSE CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED OUT OF THE COMBINED COMPUTER BASED
RECRUITMENT TEST AND THOSE WHO QUALIFY IN THE INTERVIEW.
Standard of suitability for the interview for candidates belonging to various
categories is fixed as under:
General/EWS Category : 50 and above
OBC : 45 and above (on relaxed standards)
SC/ST : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)
PWD (Gen/EWS//OBC/SC/ST) : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)
NOTE-III: NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF TEST CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

3. Appeal against rejection, if any, may be made by Speed Post OR By Hand to
Under Secretary (SPC-I), UPSC, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069
latest by 05.10.2020 with the following proof of payment:
(i) If you have paid/ deposited the fee through cash mode in any of the Branches of
the State Bank of India, please submit the photo copy of the ORA generated
Bank Pay-in-slip.
OR
(ii) If you have paid the fee through debit/ credit cards or through internet banking
of authorized Banks, please submit a copy of your Debit/ Credit Card Statement
or Bank Account Statement, as the case may be.
