• in COLOURED ELASTOMER based on the hardness of the elastic body.
• The pad has slip-proof, flexible embossing which allow the charged anti-vibration
mount to stand by friction and at the same time reduce the transmission of noise.

ELASTIC BODY
• in NATURAL RUBBER available in 3 types of hardness: 45, 60 and 70 ShA.
• Suitable for use in temperatures between -25°C and +90°C and for use with aqueous
and glycol solutions.
• Excellent elastic performance, high resistance to abrasion and ageing.
• ON REQUEST: special compounds available: NBR, HNBR, EPDM.

METAL STRUCTURE
• in UNI EN 10111 DD13 STEEL with UNI ISO 2081 Fe/Zn 15c1Awhite galvanized
coating.
• Available in AISI 316 STAINLESS steel for offshore, food and health sectors and for
use at low temperatures.

• The elastic body of the bell mount is available in THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER, in 3 types of hardness: 45,
60 and 70 ShA.
• Ideal for use in temperatures ranging from -45°C to +110°C for the 45 and 70 ShA version and from -55°C to
+135°C for the 60 ShA version.
• The compound, in recyclable thermoplastic, has a high resistance to ageing, pollutants, hydrocarbons, salt
mist, UV rays and detergents.
• The Soleco bell mount is available in versions with a UL94-V0 SELF-EXTINGUISHING and ISO 846...
ANTI-BACTERIAL compound.
• In combination with AISI 316 STAINLESS STEEL, it is suitable for OFFSHORE installations or in the HEALTH
and FOOD industry and at extreme temperatures.

HOW TO INSTALL THE JACK

• place the steel disc (6) on the anti-vibration pad (A),
• insert the set screw (1) in the threaded slot of the anti-vibration
mount,
• the set screw must be screwed to the bottom of the threaded
slot.

• when assembled in this way, the anti-vibration mount is ready to
be installed as indicated below. A

• place the anti-vibration mount under the baseplate of the
machine in the dedicated points (B).

• once the machine is perfectly level, insert the elastic washer (3),

GUIDE TO CHOOSING THE ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTS

The effectiveness of the result for every mechanical and sound insulation problem depends on the quality of the devices used and the choice of
suitable elastic properties.

It is essential to assess the installation area of the machine that needs to be insulated.
To correctly insulate the machine, sometimes elastic deflection is used which makes the machine more susceptible to external forces, such as:
wind, knocks, etc. In these cases, it is better to choose anti-vibration mounts with thrust limiters or anti-seismic versions.

TO CHOOSE AN ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNT, YOU MUST KNOW:

1. The static weight of the machine and the number of support points with their respective loads;
2. The excitation frequency determined by the rotating body at the lowest r.p.m.;
3. Installation of the machine to insulate: indicate if it is under cover, subjected to wind or in areas with a high presence of salt mist or other
aggressive agents.
It is essential to consider the temperatures to which the anti-vibration mounts will be subjected.

The installation is correct when all the installed mounts have the same elastic deflection.
If the resting points of different mounts are on the same level, the difference must be compensated for using special adjusters (jacks).

The insulation diagram shows graphically the ratios between the elastic deflections in mm, the vibration speed in r.p.m. or cycles/mm and the
degree of insulation as a %.

EXAMPLE OF CHOICE OF ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNT:

If you need to insulate a refrigeration unit weighing 6,234 Kg with a frequency of 1800 r.p.m. (30 Hz).
The unit has six resting points with 1,039 Kg resting on each point (the load is evenly distributed).
To achieve about 90% insulation, a deflection of about 4 mm. is necessary.
The best anti-vibration mount to achieve this is the CFNNR1505016 60 ShA (image on page 8)

When choosing the anti-vibration mount, check that the maximum recommended load is higher than the load
applied.
