CIRCULAR FOR STUDENTS OF GRADE - III PROMOTED TO GRADE – IV

Dear Parents
Warm Greetings!

As we mark 25 glorious years of academic excellence and holistic development, we take
immense pride in shaping young minds and creating lifelong learners. The journey of a
child’s success is deeply rooted in the partnership between parents and educators, and we
truly value the trust you have placed in us.

Your child’s journey in Grade III has been a phase of immense growth, learning, and
joyful experiences. Now, as they step into Grade IV, we remain dedicated to
ensuring a seamless transition while fostering an environment that nurtures curiosity,
creativity, and confidence. We look forward to working together to make this new
phase of learning engaging and enriching for your child.

Before the official commencement of the new academic session 2025-26 from
1st April 2025, we invite you to an Orientation Programme designed to familiarize
you with the curriculum, learning methodologies, and daily functioning of Grade VI.

Kindly take note of the following important instructions for the session 2025-26:
1. Date of Commencement of the New Academic Session
• The new academic session 2025-26 will begin on 1st April 2025 (Tuesday).

• School Timings:

2. Uniform Guidelines
Students must adhere to the prescribed uniform schedule:
• House Dress – To be worn on Tuesdays and Fridays.
• Summer White Uniform – To be worn on all other working days.
• Detailed school uniform guidelines are uploaded on Schoolpad and the School
Website.
• Parents are requested to ensure that their child adheres to the prescribed
uniform.

3. School Communication
• All official communication from the school will be shared via Schoolpad
(School ERP).
• Parents are requested to regularly check Schoolpad for circulars, important
updates, and notifications.

4. Transport & Bus Routes


• Parents of bus users must check the bus routes on the School Website and
Schoolpad before the session begins.

5. Class Timetable
• The class timetable for your ward will be uploaded on Schoolpad prior to the
start of the session.
• Detailed school uniform guidelines are uploaded on Schoolpad and the School
Website.
• Parents are requested to ensure that their child adheres to the prescribed
uniform.

6. Booklist and Stationery Requirements


• The booklist for Grade IV is available on the School Website:
www.dpsbhopal.org and Schoolpad.
• Parents may procure books from any vendor as per their convenience.
• Once purchased, all books, notebooks, and stationery must be covered and
neatly labeled with a permanent marker.

7. Syllabus, Monthly Planner & Flyers


• The School Syllabus, Monthly Planner, and Flyers will be uploaded on
Schoolpad at the beginning of every month.
• Parents are advised to check and follow them regularly.

8. Physical Education Period / Multiple Sports Period (MSP)


• Each student will have one block period per week dedicated to Physical
Education or MSP.
• Students must choose one sport for the entire session from the available
options.
• Selection is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

9. Music and Dance [Performing Arts (PA)]


• Music and Dance activities are scheduled for one period per week.
• Students must choose one option each for Music and Dance from the available
forms.
• Instrumental music is advisable for students who own an instrument.
• Once selected, the chosen activity will remain unchanged for the entire
session.
• Please select the preferred options based on your ward’s section:

10. Club Activity


• Club activity classes will be conducted every Wednesday.
• Each student must choose one club activity from the available options.
• Activities will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be
changed later.

11. Swimming Consent
• Parents are required to provide consent for their ward’s participation in
swimming classes.

Important Note:
• All four forms (Sports, Music & Dance, Club Activity, and Swimming
Consent) must be filled by 20th March 2025.
• Activities will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Once chosen, the selected activities will remain unchanged throughout the
session.

12. Parent-Teacher Orientation Programme


A Parent-Teacher Orientation Programme has been scheduled for 27th March 2025.
This session will provide insights into:
• The curriculum structure for Grade IV.
• Teaching methodologies and evaluation criteria.
• School policies, discipline expectations, and classroom routines.
