QUESTIONS

1. With the help of neat diagram, explain the concept of public-key cryptography.
Discuss it with an example. [CO1, BL2]
2. Explain Caesar cipher technique. Apply the Caesar cipher technique to encrypt the
message “HELLO” with a Caesar cipher shift of 3. What is cipher text?[CO2, BL3]
3. What are the possible attacks on RSA, and how can they be mitigated? [CO3, BL4]
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of DES compared to AES. [CO4, BL5]
5. Develop a flowchart explaining the Diffie-Hellman key exchange. [CO5, BL6]
