Ojas 2.0 Rules And
Regulations

1. DIY (Best out of Waste)

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. Team shall consist of two members only.


2. Par cipants will be given 1 hour to show their crea vity and 2 minutes to
talk about the same.
3. The required waste material and sta onery like scissor, thread, etc. should
be brought by the par cipants.
4. Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bo les, newspapers, old
utensils, jute material or any second hand items that otherwise would be
thrown away.
5. The material would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or
second hand item.
6. No ready or semi-finished model or ma er would be accepted from
par cipant in compe on.
7. Par cipants will be judged on Crea vity, U liza on of Resources, Ar s c
composi on & design, Eco-friendly ra ng, U lity of the Product and Overall
Presenta on.
8. No mobile or Internet means would be allowed to use at the me of
Compe on.
9. The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
2. EXTEMPORE

Extempore is an event where the person delivers his/her thought process in


front
of everyone with li le or no prepara ons or forethoughts. The par cipant
will
be given the topic on the spot. They will get 1 minute to think on the given
topic
a er which they will speak for next 4 minutes.
JUDGING CRITERIA: The judges will be judging the extempore on the basis
of following criteria:
1. Worthwhile Message
2. Self Confidence
3. Eye Contact
4. Voice Projec on
5. Body language
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. Topic for extempore (General) will be assigned to each par cipant on the
spot.
2. It is a single par cipa on event.
3. If the par cipant wants to change the topic then nega ve marking will
done.
4. Par cipants must carry their ID Cards during their par cipa on, or else
they will be disqualified.
5. Par cipants are not allowed to carry any study material or paper along
them.
6. The decision of judges will be final and binding on all contestants.

3. Dastar Bandi Rules


1. ID card must for par cipa on.
2. Each par cipate should have their own turban(any colour, any fabric).
3. The minimum length of turban cloth 6 meters.
4. Maximum me limt 15 mintues.
5. The shape of turban will be full va a wali pagg, pechha wali pagg and
pa ala sahi style pagg but not in the shape of Dumala.
6. Each par cipant have their own bazz (salyee), Paggpin and fi y.
7. Fi y (inside cloth) mandatory for all par cipants.
8. No internal and external students allowed to help the par cipants during
event, only students coordinators assigned for events can help for pooni.
9. Mirror should be provided by the campus.
10. Decision of the event judge will be Final.

4. Mobile Gaming

A Mobile Gaming Compe on


No of Par cipants: 4 Students per team
Event Guidelines:
BGMI (Ba legrounds Mobile India) Game rules:
 Each team must have exactly 4 members.
 The game must be played on mobile phones only.
 No gaming controllers are allowed.
 Headphones will not be provided by organiza on.
 Players may bring their own headphones and chargers.
 The map and mode will be decided by organizing commi ee.
 Matchmaking will be done based on team ranks.
 The result given by the judges will be the final result.
 If any team is found chea ng, the en re team will be disqualified.
 If a team creates disturbance, then the whole will get disqualified.
5. Quiz Rules:

I. ID card must for par cipa on.


II. Team size is 3 persons per team.
III. Team will be disqualified if found using smartphones or any gadgets.
IV. If the number of teams exceeds 4, then a preliminary MCQ (Current
Affairs and General Knowledge) will be held and only four teams will be
selected for the Quiz
final round.
V. Each ques on will carry 4 marks. (Quiz and MCQ)
VI. There will be -1 nega ve marking for wrong answer in preliminary
MCQ.
VII. The first response (i.e., Buzzer) will be considered for a team to give
an answer if given wrong answer or no answer then next team who
pressed the Buzzer will be
given chance and so on.
VIII. If pressed the buzzer, given no answer or wrong answer (-1) nega ve
marking.
IX. Rounds Name No. Ques ons

4th Sports (Cricket/Football) 5
If a e happens bonus round containing 4 ques ons from each of the
above round.
X. Decision of the Quiz Master will be Final.

6. Coding

General Rules
1. Eligibility: Open to all students registered for Ojas 2.0

2. Language: Only C++ (C++14 or above) is allowed.

3. Pla orm: The compe on will be hosted on computers provided by the


hosts

4. Tools Allowed:

o Only the in-built compiler of the compe on pla orm is to be


used.

o Internet access (for references or any help) is strictly prohibited


during the rounds.

o Pen and paper are allowed.

5. Disqualifica on:

o Plagiarism of any kind will result in immediate disqualifica on.

o Use of AI tools, code-generators, or copying from external sources


is strictly forbidden.

Round 1: Elimina on – Debugging/Error Solving

Objec ve: Iden fy and fix bugs in given C++ code snippets.

Details

 Format: Individual par cipa on.

 Ques ons type: code snippets containing syntax, logical, or run me


errors.

 Advancement: Top performers (based on accuracy and me) will qualify


for the Final Round.

Rules

 Par cipants must submit corrected code that compiles and runs
correctly.
 All solu ons must be submi ed within the allo ed me.

 Submissions a er the me limit will not be considered.

Round 2: Final – Time-bound Problem Solving

Objec ve: Solve algorithmic problems using C++ under me constraints.

Details

 Format: Individual par cipa on.

 Problems: 3 problems of increasing difficulty.

 Scoring:

o Problem 1 (Easy): 20 points

o Problem 2 (Medium): 30 points

o Problem 3 (Hard): 50 points

o Bonus: Fastest full correct submission gets +10 bonus points.

o Bonus : Achieving desired me and space complexi es (specified


with each problem)

 Problem 1 (Easy) – 5 points

 Problem 2 (Medium) – 10 points

 Problem 3 (Hard) – 15 points

Rules

 Code must pass all test cases to get full points.

 Efficiency ( me & space complexity) will be considered in case of a e.

 Par cipants must submit within the me frame; no late entries accepted.

 Correctness of output

 Code efficiency and logic

 Adherence to constraints

 Clean and readable code structure

Prizes

Winners will be awarded cer ficates. Top 3 par cipants will be felicitated on
stage during the closing ceremony.

7. Rangoli

1. Bring your own colours and material for making rangoli


2. The maximum me for rangoli is 2 hours
3. Each team have maximum two members in a team
4. Theme :- Drugs/Save Girls/ Save Water/Save Trees
5. Decision by judges will be full and final

8. Project Display

1. Each team can have maximum of four members in a team.


2. Bring your own electrical appliances like wire, switch and wire extension
box, laptop etc.
3. The Compe on is open for Undergraduate Students.
4. Members must have a valid student ID card of their respec ve
ins tu on.
5. A team member can only par cipate in only one project presenta on.

Cultural Event Performance
Categories

1. Bhangra (Group)

- Number of participants: 2-8

- Time duration: 5-8 minutes

- Dresses, folk instruments (dhol), mashup


Notes:

- Participants should be available before their performance time.

- Dresses and props are the participants' responsibility.

- Song selections should be decent and made available to the team in advance.

2. Gidha (Group)

- Number of participants: 4-11

- Time duration: 5-8 minutes

- Dresses, folk instruments (dhol), mashup


Notes:

- Participants should be available before their performance time.


- Dresses and props are the participants' responsibility.

- Song selections should be decent and made available to the team in advance.

3. Western/Fusion (Group)

- Number of participants: 2-7


- Time duration: 4-7 minutes

4. Solo Dance

- Time duration: 5 minutes (maximum)

- Time duration: 2-3 minutes

- Dress code: Culture-based/Indian wear/Indo-western

- Participants should be available before their performance time.

- Dresses are the participants' responsibility.

- Proper dressing sense is required.
