Imagine that you recently moved to a new city, or a new part of the city where you live now. Write email to a
friend from your old neighbourhood, you can use below ideas:
• buildings, parks, sports facilities, entertainment, other things to do, public transport, traffic and your journey to
work, shopping, safety etc.
• describe some of these things, or compare them directly with your old neighbourhood
• other parts of your life now and how they have changed (job? family? friends?)
• include both positive and negative points

Case Study
Instruction: Please carefully read below case study and answer the question.
You are great team member and do your work on time with very good quality. You have amazing ideas on how
the team can improve the way the work is done and also reduce the time taken for each task. You share your
ideas with one of your team member – although he/she appreciates how you come up with so many ideas, goes
and shares all your ideas with your line manager, without informing you and receives all good appreciations &
bonuses. For this your team member may also get a promotion for this.

Dear Gnaneshwar,
How are you? I hope your doing well. I have transferred to Hyderabad as per the business
requirements. City is developed a lot than before when we visited some years ago. There are huge buildings
with fine architectures and many places like parks, hotels and some other historical places.
I took a flat near Madhapur it is so good with some good ventilation and furniture. Neighbors
also seems to be good and had a good collaboration with them comparing with my previous neighbor, he was so
rude and speaks unprofessional words in front of all the neighbors and family members. Anyways I started my
new life with new goals in this city. I can easily go to office without any tension by metro and also my office
proves me one way cab facility in the nights it will give relief after the stress at office. Comparingly this city
people are very active and zeal to participate in all the activities. They were busy on doing their works. I really
love that thing that every person need to be busy in their life and have to spend some time with their families.
Also I miss our city too, missing the greenery vibe in farms and love and affection from friends and family.
Also I forgot to ask you about your sister’s engagement. I hope you and your family are planning to make a day
for engagement. Let me know one month before I will schedule my leave on that day and I wanted to be a part
of that joy. Also I hope everything is going fine in your career goals and I wish you to achieve all the
achievements that you are dreaming since our childhood. I believe you will achieve it one day definitely. If any
help you need from my side I will help you to achieve your goals. Finally, I am part of this city I have to work
hard and I need to achieve my goals and I will keep my 100% efforts to reach my goals. I hope mom and dad

Case Study
Firstly, I will know my mistake that I have made and I will ensure that I will not share the information briefly. I
will be very careful while making conversation with colleague friends without passing sensitive cases. I feel
good for him for achieving bonuses and appreciations. As a friend I will support him to be part of this office and
grow his career. I feel positive on some other side that he did not pass any sensitive cases and guidelines to the
outside of the organization he just passed my ideas to get bonuses. But I will be working on my skills and
efforts that I have put on the work. I will upgrade my skills and new strategies to get new standard of workflow
to make it. I will improve my time management skills. I will accept my previous concept was just beginning and
I will learn more from that where I have made challenges working with that flow. I ensure I will upgrade my
skills from the negativities that I have done previously. I may have shared my ideas but not my work strategy
and my way of thinking to build it. I have built it by my own and I will keep going forward by taking and
measuring each and every step clearly to achieve my goals.
