DEAN’S MESSAGE
I am happy to share the Summer Placement Report for the Class of , with %
placement, for the fourth cohort of BITS School of Management, BITSoM.
The Class of navigated a challenging economic landscape with resilience and
purpose. With a majority of students placed through our campus process, students
proactively found their own internships. The summer placement outcomes reflect not
only the calibre of our students but also the sustained efforts of our Industry
Partnership and Career Services team and confidence placed by recruiters in the
BITSoM learning experience. A broad range of sought-after industries and domains
have been well represented, with first-time recruiters added to the portfolio this year
- a testament to the School's growing brand equity and its ability to attract a diverse
mix of employers. This also aligns with our strategic approach towards broad-basing
the recruiter portfolio to mitigate risks from sector-specific slowdowns.
I believe our students will focus on the valuable experience and learning opportunities
from these internships. I am also particularly happy that several of them are working
on cutting-edge AI related projects. As we broaden our recruiter base and deepen
employer relationships, we remain committed to being among the very best B-schools
in the country.
