Research Methodology

Research methodology entails the process a researcher uses to design a study such

that the data gathered will be reliable and relevant to the project's goals. When the study

objectives and goals and are exploratory, a qualitative methodology is applied (Hamilton, &

Finley, 2019). For instance, a qualitative technique may ascertain people's parodies of a

recent incident or a presidential candidate. When the goal of the study is to provide evidence

to support a hypothesis, quantitative approaches are often used. quantitative methods may be

used to examine the correlation between two variables like, test several assumptions. When

the study's goals and objectives are predictive, a quantitative technique is often used. If you're

looking for correlations between factor. The essay highlights how the research methodology

influences the choice of my research questions.

The methodology is critical in determining the kind of data obtained in research. The

type of data obtained depends on the choice of data collection methods (Hinderks et al.,

2019). For instance, the use of questionnaires to search primary data helped me get credible

information for the topic. For example, "What impact do the mass media have on your

relationship with one another?" Therefore, my methodology of using questionnaires and

interviews significantly contributed to obtaining essential information from primary sources.

Questions are used to get the best results in a mass media research study and help carry out a

practical research study. These questions are based on quantitative and qualitative research

questions, and mixed-methodology research questions. In qualitative research questions, it

involves several data collection methods, like open-ended questions in a questionnaire.

The experiences in previous studies are essential in addressing the loopholes in future

studies. This means that I will improve my questioning techniques in my future studies,

which could have prevented me from getting excellent data. For example, designing
3

questions to find out the relevant data from the sample under investigation. The research

methodologies have a critical impact on the quality of the research data. The failure of an

efficient method means a change in the future techniques to be used.
