JAPANESE CLOTHING CALLED:

WAFUKU.

INCLUDING THE NATIONAL DRESS OF JAPAN.

THE KIMONO AND WESTERN CLOTHING (YōFUKU) WHICH ENSEMBLES ARE ALL ELSE NOT
RECOGNIZED AS EITHER NATIONAL DRESS OR THE DRESS OF ANOTHER COUNTRY.

KIMONO - ARE USUALLY SILK.

YUKATA - LIGHTWEIGHT ROBES FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS ARE USUALLY MADE FROM
COTTON OR LINEN.

THIS IS A VERY FAST RULE, HOWEVER AS KIMONO

CAN ALSO BE MADE OF COTTON OR LINEN.

- IN GENERAL JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE TAUGHT TO BE THOUGHTFUL AND


RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS, THEY PUT EMPHASIS ON HARMONY AND
PEACEFUL RELATIONSHIPS, AND TRY TO AVOID CONFLICTS AS MUCH AS
POSSIBLE, IN ADDITION, THERE IS A FAMOUS JAPANESE WORD “GIRI”
AND “NINJO” WHICH REFERS; TO SYMPATHY AND COMPASSION TO
OTHERS.
