Education, Culture and Society 2015 is an International Academic Conference


organised by young academics and students of social sciences and humanities for
young academics and students of social sciences, art studies and humanities.

The aim of the conference is the promotion of young academics as well as the creation of an
international transdisciplinary academic community.

The language of all proceedings (lectures, papers, posters, discussions) is English.

Who can apply?


All students, post-graduate students, doctoral candidates and young doctors representing
different branches of social sciences, art studies and humanities can take part in the conference.

The opening of the conference will take place in the Aula Leopoldina of the University of
Wroclaw (pl. Uniwersytecki 1, Wroclaw)

University of Wroclaw and the Institute of Pedagogy of the University of Wrocław (ul. J. Wl.
Dawida 1, Wroclaw)

How to apply?
To apply for the conference please download the application form from the conference website,
fill it out and send it to the following e-mail address:
[email protected]

Your application will be reviewed and you will receive a confirmation of your application.

What is the fee?


The conference fee is 120 EUR.

The conference fee covers:


 participant’s speech or poster (max. 2 presentations per 1 participant),
 peer-reviewed publications (in case of positive review) in the “Journal of Education, Culture
and Society” (max. 1 publication per 1 participant),
 book of abstracts of all conference papers and posters,
 printed copy of the “Journal of Education, Culture and Society” containing the positively
reviewed papers submitted by participants,
 full access to all sessions and lectures,
 admittance to the opening ceremony,
 certificate of attendance (to be received at the conference personally),
 conference materials,
 coffee breaks,
 3 lunches
 solemn supper,
 cultural event,
 guided city tour of Wroclaw.

In case of groups of 5 (or more than 5) participants coming together we provide discounts (100
EUR discount for the whole group).

Will the paper be published?


The conference participants are entitled to submit their papers for the international academic
semi-annual “Journal of Education, Culture and Society” (http://jecs.pl/)

“Journal of Education, Culture and Society” is a reviewed (double blind peer-review) academic
semi-annual published to promote the work of emerging young academics. The journal is
indexed in CEEOL, EBSCO, BazHum and Index Copernicus (7,39 in 2014).

The papers will be published only if they are positively reviewed (double blind peer-review).

Abstracts of all conference papers will be published in the book of conference abstracts.
