Q1.Mother brought child with itchy rash on face. Rash on face looked like

1. 1% hydrocortisone
2. Topical cotriamoxazole
3. Reassurance
4. Oral antifungal
2. 10month old with 10 days of coughing and SOB. Vitals with high RR and
pulse. Examination with bilateral creps and wheeze with systolic murmur
at lt sternal edge. Live palpable. C Xray given. Diagnosis
1. pneumonia
2. heart failure
7. Pt with hydroneprosis and dialter ureter, had stent put in, results
should cr and u raised with electrolyte disturbance. Improved after
hydration. Few days after urine out low, results given, urea was in
20s while creatinine was mildly elevated.
Asked for cause
Dehydration
Urosepsis
Stent onstruction
8. Domestic violence case. Husband waiting outside, wife fear her
safety
Call police
Admit wife so she is in a safe place
9. 18yr old with general ill health, fatigue and tiredness. Examination
normal expect BMI of 19. Result showed alb of 30 and globulin 12.
Likely diagnosis
Immunocompromised
CF
Celiac disease
10. Patient presented with 3 month history of abdominal pain,
nausea and vomiting. Smoker and drinks alcohol 3 to4 cans per day.
Examination revealed mild jaundice. Results showed increased TB
and conjugated bilirubin, ggt, alp elevated ad ast and alp were
normal. Uss dilated intrahepatic ducts, others normal. Appropriate
next investigation:
ERCP
MRCP
CT abdomen
11. Pregnant lady,o negative, has hx of PV bleeding had anti d
given, 2 weeks later, test should antibodies present (titre not given),
next in management

Ask the senior reg for the request
Get permission from patient that we will use photo for teaching

14. Junior surgeon operating, lap cholec, first incision made into
the liver, massive bleeding, consult came and had to do open
labprotomy. Post op healed well without complication. What
information to be given
Theater nurse to inform the patient
Register to tell the pt that there was error
Pat advocate to inform pt
Surgical head to inform pt in prescence of pt advocate
