10/10/24 – morning session

Q1.Mother brought child with itchy rash on face. Rash on face looked like
well-defined margin, clear border. Centre normal. Pic given, similar

What is the mx

1. 1% hydrocortisone
2. Topical cotriamoxazole
3. Reassurance
4. Oral antifungal

2. 10month old with 10 days of coughing and SOB. Vitals with high RR and
pulse. Examination with bilateral creps and wheeze with systolic murmur
at lt sternal edge. Live palpable. C Xray given. Diagnosis

1. pneumonia

2. heart failure

3. bilateral pleural effusion

3. prevalene of HIV decreased by 50% in rural area. Incidence rate is


stable. What can be the reason;

1. people from rural have moved to city

2. better pre-exposure prophylaxis

5. AV fistula, same scenario as recall, also mentions that bruit can be


heard over the fistula
6. Risk of schizophrenia in for child. Only grandmother has schizo
15% risk of his child having the disease
No significant risk for the child
25% risk to the child

7. Pt with hydroneprosis and dialter ureter, had stent put in, results
should cr and u raised with electrolyte disturbance. Improved after
hydration. Few days after urine out low, results given, urea was in
20s while creatinine was mildly elevated.
