Photography 10/20 Final Project

Photo Series and Portfolio

You will create a collection of 10 photos that share a common theme or

subject and include that in your portfolio.

Part 1: Photo Series

You will take 10 photos that share a common theme. These photos should be
edited to increase their quality. These changes can either be minimal
(increasing color) or dramatic (complete transformation of the image). You
will also provide a description of your collection. Why did you choose this
theme? How does your collection portray this theme? Why is this important
to you?

Part 2: Portfolio
You will also create a portfolio using Google Sites. On this website you will
include your photo series as well as 10 other photos that you have
taken/created during this class that best exemplify yourself as a photographer.
These photos should be the best ones that you have taken during the semester.

Part 3: Artist Statement

Write a brief artist statement (200-300 words) explaining the concept behind
your series. Describe your creative process, any challenges you encountered,
and how you chose to convey your message through your photographs.
This will be due on January 28th!
