1) Connect Detector, Control Box and PC


2) Insert CD into PC
1) Detector connection with PC using Ethernet 3) Run the S/W installer

MAP files are conveniently stored within the detector for easier initial installation process

Setup Sequence – 3.Gain Calibration

Gain Calibration
Shoot X-ray to the detector if Detector is READY.
Then, Easy Installation checks x-ray does by mean
value of image.

X-ray is weak.
Mean: 99 (Recommended 25000 ~ 30000 )
X-ray is weak. Please increase x-ray and try again. Please increase x-ray and try again.

X-ray is strong.
Mean: 50000 (Recommended 25000 ~ 30000 ) Please decrease x-ray and try again.
X-ray is strong. Please decrease x-ray and try again.

X-ray is fine.
Mean: 27000 (Recommended 25000 ~ 30000 ) Please take more images with the same x-ray dose.
X-ray is Good! [1/7].

If you use three detectors, select ‘3rd (index 2)’ and set others for the third detector,

You can confirm the serial number by file name of calibration files from Dropbox.
Copy the calibration files at C:\EConsole1\Map folder.

Installation the Ecali1

a. Right click the ‘Ecali1.exe in the installation folder (in C:\Ecali1 by default).

b. Click ‘Properties’ and select ‘Advanced’.

c. Check the ‘Run as administrator’ box, and ‘OK’.


After running ‘Ecali1’, Pop-up the error notification as blow.

It’s normal notification informing the absence of calibration files. Click ‘OK’.

EVS W series have 3 types of Network Mode.

✓ Station Mode
- Default Mode.
- Detector is connected with PC through AP(Access Point).
- Detector and AP must set as same SSID.
*SSID : DRT_1 or DRT_2

✓ Detector AP Mode (5GHz)


- Using internal AP inside of Detector.
- Do not need additional AP.
- Detector is connected with PC directly.
- Wireless LAN card should support 5GHz function.
*SSID : DETECTOR_AP

- Using internal AP inside of Detector.
- Do not need additional AP.
- Detector is connected with extra device like smart phone or tablet.

⚫ Start from default setting of NetGear. In case of changed settings from default, reset NetGear settings by pushing reset
button from back side of NetGear.

⚫ Select the “Obtain an IP address automatically” from TCP/IPv4.
