I decided to write this guide for those students who want to pursue their studies in Italy
and cut the consultant from the stream. This guide will guide you in getting your Italian
study visa, step by step. Easy and simple way. This guide will guide you things like,
➢ Required documents in getting admission.
➢ Getting admission in Italian university.
➢ Verification process of all educational documents
➢ Getting appointment in embassy for filing your case.
➢ Documents you need to take to embassy.
➢ Common questions asked by visa officer.
➢ Applying for scholarship.
NOTE: Italian universities offer only ONE INTAKE per year that means that you are
having just one chance to get admission in Italian universities per year. Admissions start
from end of December to May, and you will have to take appointment through
https://www.universitaly.it/ website for an embassy to file your case, we will discuss it
later.
Step 1
Required Documents in Getting Admission
Those students who want to apply for Bachelor studies they’ll need the following
documents,
1. Passport
2. Matric Degree (Detail Mark Sheet)
3. F.sc Degree (Detail Mark Sheet)
4. IELTS Certificate ( In some Universities not needed check details in University
websites)
Those students who want to apply for Master studies they’ll need few more documents
along with above documents, like,
5. Bachelor Degree
6. Bachelor Transcript/DMC
7. Two letters of recommendation from your previous university or college.
8. Course Outline (Syllabus stamped officially from University/College)
9. CV
Scan all the above documents from both front and backside, make a folder and save all
your documents in that folder.
Step 2
Getting Admission in Italian University
Now that you have all required documents, you can apply in any Italian university which
is offering the course of your choice, here is few universities and their websites.
Above are some famous universities of Italy, for more universities, its national and
international rankings and other information byclicking the following link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_universities_in_Italy
You can select any university according to your need, choice and course. Once you select a
university. You have to create your own ID on their website, look for the words “Sign up”,
“Register” or “Apply”. After creating your ID, you’ll be able to apply for the admission.
Upload all (scanned) required documents and click done. You will receive a confirmation
mail from your university (the email id on which you have registered yourself) confirming
that we have received your documents etc. After university evaluate your documents and if
you are eligible for the admission they will send you the Offer Letter or Letter of Acceptance.
Usually they take 14-30 days.
TIP: Apply to as many universities as you can because they won’t charge huge fee from
you. It is around 20 to 50 euros. If you don’t get the letter of acceptance from one
university then from other you will get then you can proceed to further process.
Question 1: My documents are not verified, will university issue “letter of acceptance”?
Answer: yes, university will issue you “Offer letter” or “letter of acceptance” with non-
verified educational documents however before going to embassy for interview and filing
your case youmust verify all your educational documents from concern board, IBCC,
university and HEC.
Step 3
Verification of the Educational Documents
After apply in university you have to start documents verification process, one important
thing you should know that Italian Embassy will need 3, 3 Colour copies of your each
attested educational document. The verification process is as following,
1. First take your Matric and F.sc original educational documents (matric certificate,
matric DMC, FA/Fsc Certificate, FA/Fsc DMC, ) to the photostate shop and ask them
to take 5,5 copies of each document on 100grams paper.
You might be thinking that if embassy needs only 3 copies of our educational
documents then why should I take 5 photostate of my Matric and Fsc documents? Well,
answer to this question is that if you take 5 photocopies of your matric+Fsc documents
and you go to the Board office they will keep one one copy of your matric certificate,
matric DMC, FA/Fsc Certificate, FA/Fsc DMC in their office for their own record, while
they will give you one photocopy of each above mentioned documents in envelope. You
don’t have to open that envelope, its for the IBCC record, and at the end you will be
having 3 copies of your Matric and Fsc educational documents, I will discuss IBCC later.
2. Ask them charges of verification per document.
3. Once you know the charges, pay it in the concerned Bank, attach the payment slip
with your documents and submit your Matric and Fsc original and Copies in Board
office.
Wait for 7days (if you have paid the normal fee). Within these 7days I would suggest you
take an appointment Online from HEC or related department and upload your degree and
bachelor transcript for verification. (Usually they take 15 days to give you an appointment
so I suggest you to take an appointment 15 days prior to your planned)
4. After 7days go to board office again, collect your documents. They will hand a sealed
envelope, do not open it.
5. Take these documents to the IBBC office (Head Office in Islamabad, however you
can Board employees to give you address of regional office, usually it is located
inside the board office). Pay them fee only attest the original, regional office will
return you these documents within 7days at most, while if you submit your
documents before 11am in head office, you’ll get it the same day, or maybe the next
day.
6. Take your degree + transcript (DMC) to HEC head office Islamabad or your regional
HEC office. They verify them on the spot (HEC fees are 800/- pkr for original and
500/- pkr per copy). One thing you should know that HEC will verify you Degree
and Transcript IF your Matric and Fsc certificates and DMCs are already verified.
Or in simple words if you want to verify and attest your degree and transcript from
HEC, you must verify and your Matric and Fsc certificates and DMCs first from
concerned board. One thing more, before going to HEC office you should take
photostate of your Matric, Fsc, Degree and DMCs for HEC office record.
7. After verifying all your documents from Board, IBCC, and from HEC, you should take
all you documents to foreign office for attestation. It takes 1 complete day in Foreign
office. (Please Scan all QR codes with your mobile and check if it have all your
documents before leaving the Foreign Office)
Verification process takes about 15days at most, depends how lazy or active you are.
Step 4
• As soon as you get admission from any university, you have to do Pre Enrollment on
Universitaly Portal as soon as it open for current academic year.
• Pre Register your self on Universitaly Portal.
Step 5
1. Now all your Educational documents are attested , So it’s time to make a Italian
Translational of your attested documents. (You can only do this step after attesting
your documents from foreign Offices and HEC because attestions also have to translate
in Italian language).
2. There are many translators agencies in Rwp/ISB you can do it from anyone. Below is
the list of available agencies.
3. After getting Italian Tranlations make 3,3 coloured copies of them.

Regional SCHOLARSHIPs
Mostly students ask about scholarships in Italy So I am trying to provide you very brief
but effective details about this. I think in European Union only it’s now Italy which is
providing you all benefits of living and studying without any merit.
Italy offers regional scholarships to both Italian citizens and international students who
wish to pursue their studies in the country. These scholarships are offered by the
individual regions of Italy and vary in terms of eligibility criteria, application procedures,
and award amounts.
To apply for a regional scholarship in Italy, you should first determine which region you
are interested in studying in and research the available scholarships offered by that
region. Each region has its own application process and requirements, so it is important
to carefully review the eligibility criteria and application instructions before applying.
Some examples of regional scholarships in Italy include:
EDISU is an acronym for Ente per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario, which is an Italian
organization that provides financial support to university students. EDISU scholarships are
available to Italian and international students who are enrolled in a degree program at a
university in Italy.
To be eligible for an EDISU scholarship, you must meet certain criteria, including having a
family income below a certain threshold, being enrolled in a degree program at an Italian
university, and maintaining a certain grade point average. The exact eligibility criteria may
vary depending on the region and university.
The EDISU scholarship covers various expenses related to university education, such as tuition
fees, accommodation, and meals. The amount of the scholarship varies depending on the
region, the university, and the student's financial situation.
To apply for an EDISU scholarship, you should contact the EDISU office in your region or
visit their website to obtain information about the application process and eligibility
requirements. Generally, you will need to submit an application form, FRC in Italian, Income

you have to reach Italy within mentioned deadlines.

so it is important to carefully review the instructions and submit your application on time.

career!!!! Remember me in your Prayers (Sufian Saeed)
