1. You are required to accompany and guide visitors in a simulated work environment
according to given instructions.
2. Check the given assignment by the tour operator with the profile and requirements of the
visitors. You are given two (2) hours to perform the tasks.
3. Reconfirm all reservations made by the Tour Operator with the suppliers involved in the
assigned tour itinerary. The assessment shall be based on the units of competency in
the Training Regulations and Evidence Plan and shall focus on the following:
a. Observation / Demonstration
b. Oral Questioning
4. Make sure that you complete each aspect of the activity to the standard expected in the
workplace as a local tour guide.
5. Answer all the questions from the assessor to confirm your underpinning knowledge.
6. Listen to the feedback regarding your performance and result of the assessment to be
provided to you by the assessor.

Instructions for the demonstration:
Observe the demonstration of the candidate on the following within two (2) hours
1. The candidate shall Accompany and Guide Visitors in the locality in Accordance with
the Tour Itinerary.
2. Describe the assessment activity and the date on which it was undertaken.
3. Place a tick in the box to show that the candidate completed each aspect of the
activity to the standard expected in the workplace as a local tour guide.
4. Ask the candidate all the questions on the attached list to confirm his/her
underpinning knowledge.
5. Place a tick in the box to show that the candidate answered the questions correctly.
6. Give feedback regarding the performance after all evidences has been gathered.
7. Complete the feedback sections of the form.
