Basic Introduction to Computers A World of Computers | Components of Computers

I. Objectives
After completing this module, you should be able to:
1. Explain why computer is vital to success in today’s world.
2. Describe the components of a computer
3. Reflect on the learning experience.

II. Warm Up
In a sheet of paper, write a short essay with a minimum of 100 words on how will our life be without
computers? (To be submitted next week for modular)

Answer:
For me as a student the life without computer is very difficult. Because nowadays one the most
common important thing that will be use of a student is the computer. As a student the life
without computer is difficult, most of the time computer is the use in the way of doing the project,
doing a research paper, different activities, and many different papers the needed in school. Some
of the student is relying on the modern technology that they use in their studies. Not only me but
the entire student will be facing a struggles if without computers in our life.

III. Self Audit


The following questions are related to how you use computers and your perceptions regarding the
use of technology for your swallowing therapy. Please answer the questions as accurately as
possible. The questionnaire will take approximately 5 minutes of your time to complete and your
responses and identity remain confidential.

Answer:
In studying in this topic I learned something new, I learned a lot about what are computer and the
components of a computer. In this module introduce to us the different parts of a desktop
computer, the input and output devices, the main component of motherboard, and the different
kind of input device, storage device, communication device, system unit, and output device. It
help me to know the proper using of a computer, the different part of it, and what is the
importance of every parts that attached in a computer. It is also give me knowledge how to use
the computer and its every part properly.
