🧩 A. Definisi (Definition)

Fractured Story adalah versi alternatif dari cerita tradisional atau dongeng klasik yang diubah sebagian
atau keseluruhan.
A fractured story retells a traditional story (like a fairytale) by changing characters, setting, point of view,
or the plot in a creative or humorous way.

Contoh cerita yang bisa di-fracture: Cinderella, Snow White, Malin Kundang, dll.

🎯 B. Fungsi Sosial (Social Function)

The social function of a fractured story is to entertain and encourage creativity by retelling familiar
stories in new and surprising ways.
Fungsi sosial dari fractured story adalah untuk menghibur dan mengajak pembaca berpikir kreatif
dengan menyajikan kembali cerita lama dengan cara yang baru dan tak terduga.

Fractured Story menceritakan sesuatu yang telah terjadi, jadi umumnya menggunakan past tense (verb

Menuliskan ucapan tokoh secara langsung dengan tanda kutip.

→ Serigala berkata, "Aku nenekmu."

📌 Indirect Speech (Kalimat Tidak Langsung):

Menyampaikan ucapan tokoh dengan gaya narasi.

 Example: The wolf said that he was her grandma.

💬 Siswa bisa diminta membandingkan versi direct dan indirect dari kalimat.

5. Descriptive Language (Bahasa Deskriptif)

Gunakan kata sifat (adjectives) dan kata keterangan (adverbs) untuk menggambarkan tokoh, tempat, dan

🔹 Indirect Speech (Kalimat Tidak Langsung):


Adalah cara menyampaikan isi perkataan seseorang, tetapi tidak ditulis persis seperti yang diucapkan.
Biasanya menggunakan kata sambung that dan perubahan bentuk kata.
