The fault analysis report for the DM4 Sizer motor indicates issues with the windings, bearings, and rotor due to water ingress and dirt. Megger readings show acceptable insulation resistance, but the ND end bearing is dry and damaged, and the rotor is rusty. Cleaning and further testing are recommended to assess the windings and shaft condition.

ND end bearing found dry and scattered, bearing inner race and cover wedged on the shaft. Shaft physically appear straight but should be tested on Lathe machine when the bearings are removed. Rotor was found seased and rusty because of dirt ingress and water in the stator. Cover housing physically appear good but will measure after cleaning
About 2 gallons of water drained out of the motor when opened,
a lot of slury found in the stator. The windings when clean and dry in the Oven hope will read better. The wedge inner ND end bearing cover will damage, except to machine one.
