It is the work on the raw
materials as it is converted into
finished product.

It is the resources needed or costs
that need to be paid for in making
products other than the raw
materials and direct labor.
Service business
• Doing work for others.
• Examples of service businesses are
beauty parlors, spas, barber shop,
laundry shops, and repair shop.
