My role model is Aung San Suu Kyi because of her commitment to democracy and

human rights in Myanmar, despite facing years of arrest, prison and persecution by
some military. She has inspired millions of people around the world with her peaceful
resistance and perseverance in the face of oppression and continues to fight for a
more just and equal society for all people. Additionally, her commitment to
nonviolent activism and her commitment to the principles of nonviolence and anti-
war make her a shining example of courage and leadership.
