Specifications of grounding materials comply with the

drawing & Contract specification. IMR is clear.
Weld joints are made by overlapping the strip equivalent
3 to double the width of the strip and four sides continuously
weld.

Earthing materials are installed as per the pre-determined

layout & earthing box installed as specified in the drawing.
Proper connection of grounding cable to earthing Lug.

correct type and size of terminal Lug is used.
Electrodes have clean surface, free from non-conducting

materials like Paint, grease etc.
Top level of the earth pit is matched with the finished grade
7 level at paved area and projected 100mm above FGL at
unpaved area.
Earth pit is backfilled by using alternate layers of charcoal &

common salt and individually numbered for identification
