LEARNING PROCEDURE
Before the Lesson/Pre-Lesson Proper
Activating Prior Knowledge Yesterday, we discussed
the different things we can do
every day using our cellphones.

Alright, based on what

we talked about yesterday,
can you give more examples
of things we can do
with our cellphone? Teacher, we can use this to keep in
touch with family members who live far
away!
Yes, very good!

Through the cellphone,

we can communicate with
our loved ones who are far away.

Great! What else? Teacher, we can use it to take photos

and we can use it for studying!

We can study, yes!

All your answers are correct.

Lesson Purpose/Intention Now, I will divide you
into two groups.
We will play a game called "Hunt
Me."

I will give you some materials

that you will use for the game.

All you have to do is find

as many words as you can
within two minutes.

The number of words you find

will be equal to the number of stars
you will receive, and
I will place them on your scoring
board.

Do you understand, children? Yes teacher.

Time is up!
Now, I will choose one representative
from each group to share
the words you hunted.

Where is Group 1? "The output of Group 1 was presented."

Thank you very much, Group 1.
Well done!

Of course, Group 2 won’t be left "The output of Group 2 was presented."

behind!
Great job, Group 2!

You may now take your seats.

Lesson Language Practice/ At the front of the class, I will post the
Unlocking of Difficulties lesson title 'Computer System'.
During/ Lesson Proper
Reading the Key Idea/Stem Computer System - The computer
system is a blend of hardware and
software, enabling computers to
exchange information and process
data.
Developing Understanding of the Hey kids, did you know that Dora's
Key Idea/Stem known as an Explorer? That's because
she gets to travel all over the place!
Well, guess what? Dora wants you to
come along on her next big adventure!
But first, we've got to grab a map so
we can figure out where we're heading
with Dora. Let's give Dora a hand and
call for the map, everyone! shout
'Map!' That's right, shout 'Map!'
And here comes Map!
Now that Map's here, it's time to
embark on our adventure! Each place
you explore with Dora will offer
something fresh and exciting to
discover.

Are you ready, kids? Our first stop is

the Lake. Let's see what wonders and
new knowledge await us there!

This is the area where our attention is

directed when engaged in an activity,
and it's also where images or details
about the contents are displayed.

The CPU is like the brain of the

computer. Without it, the whole
system just won't function because it's
the core and most crucial component.

Now, Dora's taking us on a journey to

the sea.

In this part of our journey, we're going

to uncover the third element of the
Computer System: the Keyboard.
This is what you use to type words on
a computer.
Now, Dora is off to the Mountains to
discover something new once again!

This is how we open the folder we

need on the desktop by clicking on it.

Dora has finished her trip to the

mountains and now she wants to head
over to the Farm.

I bet everyone here knows what a

speaker is. It's that thing you use to
turn up the volume on your computer.
Anyway, Dora is heading to the park,
but first, she's gotta cross a bridge to
get there.

So, Dora and I were hanging out on

the bridge when we stumbled upon
this thing called an External Hard
Disk. Turns out, it's perfect for storing
those humongous files that take up too
much space.
Deepening Understanding of the Think about Dora's adventure. Can
Key Idea/Stem you figure out how many different
computer system components she
found along the way? Seven! (all together)

Awesome job!

Hold on, it’s Swiper the Fox! He's

always popping up to stop Dora and
swipe her stuff. He left us a little note.
It says we have to work together on an
activity. And if we don't get it right,
we can't go home!

There are two activities we need to do.

Group 1, I'd like you to take a look at

the picture and figure out which part
of the computer system is missing.
Once you've identified it, please draw
it in.

Group 2, your task is to label each

component of the computer system
that's displayed in the picture.

Did everyone catch that? You will

have three minutes to complete this
activity. Please go ahead and start
now.

Time's up, everyone!

Now, each group needs to select a
representative to share your work, and
we'll check to see if your answers are
right.

Group 1, where are you?

Excellent work, Group 1!

Group 2, how about you?

Fantastic job, Group 2!

That's perfect! Everyone got the

correct answers!
I'm really pleased to see that you all
managed to finish your activity.

Because of that, I'm going to give

each of you five stars, and you've all
passed the first activity set by Swiper
the Fox.

For Swiper's last activity, this time,

you'll be working on your own.

After the Lesson/ Post-Lesson Proper

Making I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed
Generalization/Application spending time with Dora!
Kids, how many components of the
Computer System did Dora help you
discover? Seven, Teacher!

Can you name the seven parts of the

Computer System, everyone? Monitor, CPU, Keyboard, Speaker,
Mouse, External Hard Disk, and Power
That's fantastic! It sounds like you Supply Unit.
paid close attention during our talk
with Dora.

Now that we've identified the various

parts, how can you demonstrate the
significance of using the Computer
System responsibly? We shouldn't bring food and drinks near
the computer, Teacher, to prevent any
accidents or damage to the equipment.

Why is it crucial for us to understand

the different components of the
Computer System? This way, we'll know where and how to
use it, and we can learn how the
computer works.

In this day, why is it so important for

us to be familiar with the parts of the
computer and how to use it correctly?
We'll definitely use computers in our
studies and future jobs. With computers,
Teacher, our work will be much easier.

Outstanding, everyone! It's evident

that you grasped the lesson's key
concepts really well.

Assessment - Evaluating Learning Alright, kids, let's move on to the

second activity that Swiper mentioned
to you a little while ago. Are you
ready to jump in? Yes teacher.
Additional activities for Assignment:
application or remediation
Directions: Draw a picture of the
entire computer keyboard on one full
sheet of paper. Make sure it's neat and
clear!

If you have a computer keyboard at

home, take a good look at it for
reference. If not, no worries! Just hop
online and search for a picture of one.
