Janhvi: We are thrilled to announce that, for the very first time, our School Anthem has been
professionally recorded and will soon be available on YouTube for everyone to hear. This
recording is not just about showcasing our anthem; it is about sharing the heart and soul of
St. Joseph’s School with the world.
Sumit: The anthem carries a powerful message, especially in these challenging times. We
wish that people from different walks of life, from different parts of the world, listen, reflect,
and join us in our mission to ‘Let Our Light Shine’.
Janhvi: This recording was made possible by a dedicated team of talented musicians,
singers, and production experts. We would also like to give a special mention to our pre-
eminent teacher Mr. Titus Crasta whose creativity and vision brought this anthem to life to
his heartfelt composition and lyrics. Let’s give a huge round of applause to everyone
involved in making this project a reality. Thank you for being a part of this remarkable
moment.
4. INTRODUCTION……CHAOS (RECORDING)
Priyanshi: Well, that is why it becomes a sacred act of connection and communication,
rather than mere entertainment. Wouldn’t you agree it’s akin to a moving meditation?
Vishwajeet: Absolutely I agree! When we pray with words, the connection is internal. But
with prayer dance, entire body becomes a vessel for that communication, each movement
reflects the unique sentiments and intentions of the dancer.
Priyanshi: Dear audience… let’s dive right into this performance that serves as a means to
convey gratitude and honour the lord. Here come the students of class 5 before you, with
their prayer dance choreographed by Mrs Lilly George, Sr Helen Sofia and Mrs Namrata
Singh assisted by Mrs Ashwathy Nair. The students will showcase their talents of symmetry,
synchronisation and rhythm.
Welcome…class 5 (Both the anchors together)
Aline: Today, the students of classes 10 and 12, march with precision, symmetry and
honour, embodying the values of perseverance and teamwork. Each step taken, each
moment synchronized, reflects staunch and devoted practice and an unwavering
commitment to excellence.
Rahul: The march past is a tribute to the traditions and ideals that shape our school and its
community. Watch as they march, poised and resolute, a personification of the strength and
spirit we all aspire to achieve.
Aline: With pride in our hearts and respect for their dedication in our minds, let’s welcome
the awaiting contingents to take the show to further elegance. Dear well-wishers and
stakeholders, the march past, led by the school captains and vice captains, sports captains
and vice captains and the house captains and vice captains. At this moment, we thank Mr
Ashok Kumar, Mr James D Ralph, Mr Vimal Sharma, Mr Davis P P and all the School House
coordinators along with Mr Senumon Joseph, Mrs Anu Wilson and Mrs Rashmi Srivastava.

MEMENTO:
Sumit: Now I would request __________________ to present a memento to the President. This
memento expresses our heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to you for blessing this
programme with your acclaimed presence.
8. RELIGIOUS/COMMUNAL HARMONY. (OM AYUSH AND AIBHA)
Aibha : Thank you Rt. Rev. Bishop. We are really glad to have you amidst of us and your
valuable presence certainly blessed us.
As we commence our cultural programmes, Om Ayush Patra and I, Aibha Singh are here to
take you on a journey to explore the communal harmony.
India is a land of cultural and religious diversity. People belonging to different religions and
cultures live together in harmony. The concept of religious harmony is expanded as the
peaceful coexistence of followers of different religions. India cherishes the concept of unity
in diversity.
Om Ayush : This celebrates the idea of bringing together people from different cultural and
social backgrounds, finding common grounds for a cohesive and harmonious society.
Aibha:
Om Ayush : We hereby present the nursery kids in front of you who are all embellished in
fair alabastrine symbolising peace, calmness and tranquillity.
Aibha : The little angels of SJS have been prepared by Mrs Preeti Prabhu and Mrs Hema
Pathak assisted by Mrs Sunita Purti.
Aline: Today, we embark on a fascinating journey to unravel these mysteries. Through this
performance, our young students will demonstrate how we must evolve – letting go of old
habits and adopting values that truly uplift our community. Therefore, dear audience, let’s
remember that transformation begins within each one of us.
Rahul: In the world outside, we often witness chaos due to selfishness or money
mindedness which defile the very morality of the society. This programme will remind us
that we must choose the path of goodness.
Aline: The innocent yet powerful message today is that we must examine ourselves and
then make a change if we truly want to make the world a better place. This event of LKG
and UKG has been envisaged and programmed by Mrs Rinu Langan, Mrs Ankita Singh, Mrs
Anima Kumari, Mrs Vandana, Miss Shilpa __________________ along with Miss Sheela, Miss
Alispa and Miss Seema.
10. YOGA AND MEDITATION (Priyanshi and Vishwajeet)
Up next, we venture into a performance that underscores a profound tool for transformation
– encompassing both the physical and mental realm.
योग: कर्मसु
कौशलम् meaning ‘Yoga is skill in action’. This timeless wisdom reminds us that yoga and
meditation transcend mere physical practice, they are disciplines that forge inner strength,
mental clarity and equilibrium. To initiate genuine change within society, we must
undertake this inner transformation. So, let us welcome the students of class 8, with a huge
round of applause to demonstrate various Yoga asanas, exemplifying how these ancient
practices guide us towards a more mindful, central existence. We appreciate Mrs Ragini
Sharma, Sr Kiran, Mr Arun Mohan assisted by Mrs Anita Joshi for the training and perfection
that they brought to this programme.
Today is the day, nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold
but we will try to make them feel worthy and regarded especially on their silver jubilee
year.
So, I respectfully entreat Rt. Rev Bishop Louis Mascarenhas and ______________________ to
step onto the stage for felicitating and conferring honour on Mr. Senumon Joseph and Mrs.
Diana Crasta.
Rahul: Precisely! A key part of taking care of our bodies is making mindful and cognizant
choices about what we eat.
A well balanced diet goes beyond satisfying hunger. It’s what shapes our endurance,
sharpens our minds and supports our growth. Each nutrient from vitamins to healthy fats
plays a specific role in perpetuating our health.
Aline: It’s time for a culinary revolution! To genuinely transform our lives, we must liberate
ourselves from the shackles of unhealthy diets. The antiquated practices of indulging in junk
food, skipping meals and relying on sugary snacks must become relics of the past. Today,
Class 1 is here to remind us of the importance of a healthy diet.
Rahul: Let’s sit back and enjoy the energetic performance by the students of class 1
instructed by Mrs Baby George, Miss Shraddha Kumari and Mrs Sanjeeta Toppo along with
Mrs Ingrid Ralph. Let’s cheer them on as they take us on this thrilling and exhilarating
excursion!
Janhvi: That’s right! Today, we present the importance of hygiene-not just as individuals,
but as a community. These admirable students of class 2, astute beyond their years,
recognize that maintaining hygiene isn’t merely about personal well-being; it’s about
creating a world that’s safer, healthier, and more vibrant.
Sumit: Indeed! They believe-and will show us today-that each of us holds the power to ignite
change. By taking small, mindful actions to keep ourselves and our surroundings clean, we
contribute to a collective transformation. Just as one exercise strengthens the body. One
small hygiene habit can strengthen our community.
Jahnvi: Before we move forward, we’d like to take a moment to extend our heartfelt
gratitude to Mrs Sajana K, Mrs Shiji Joseph and Sr Alpana Ekka along with Mrs Shashiprabha
Tiru whose dedication and guidance have been instrumental in shaping this performance.
Let’s give them a big round of applause.
Yet, deforestation persists, with people around us actively practising it, but unfortunately we
tend to choose to ignore it. Campaigns like "Keep Clean, Go Green" and the Prime Minister’s
Swachhata Abhiyan encourage us to act, but how many of us truly dispose of waste
properly? Many of our activities continuously inflict harm upon nature though nature has
consistently provided for us with all necessary things. But diseases such as asthma,
respiratory ailments, and vector-borne infections are proliferating, claiming countless lives.
Hence, it is high time that we transform our approach and assume responsibility for
safeguarding nature, demonstrating our true Love for Nature. So, here are the young minds
of class 3, poised to impart valuable lessons on how to cherish and preserve the
environment. They are trained by Mrs Silvia Denis, Mrs Suma Boney and Mrs Shazia Bano
along with Mrs Anis Rajan. They definitely deserve a loud round of applause.
19. Aerobics:
S̲u̲m̲i̲t̲:̲ Yes..! These students have set the bar high—not just in academics but also in
showing us what dedication and perseverance look like. SJS gives equal emphasis to
developing a strong mind along with a strong body.
J̲a̲n̲h̲v̲i̲:̲ And that brings us to our next performance, an exciting aerobics display. Aerobics is
not just about getting your heart rate up—it’s about showing how physical activity can boost
your confidence, bring people together, and even fetch positivity to our community. It will
be amazing to behold how the simple act of rhythmic movement and exercise can transform
us from within, making us more confident, energetic, and focused
S̲u̲m̲i̲t̲:̲ Aerobics is all about movement and optimism therefore, all who are present here,
feel free to clap along and cheer. Are you all ready to have a feast for your eyes? Ladies and
gentlemen please give a warm welcome to our young performers of class 6 perfected by
Mrs Suja P George, Mr Upadyay and Miss Shefali Gupta along with Miss Luviza.
22. TAEKWONDO
Strength , discipline and confidence , these are the three pillars
of Taekwondo, a Korean martial art renowned for its dynamic kicks and powerful
techniques. But Taekwondo is more than just a combat sport, it is a discipline that embodies
respect, perseverance and self control.
St. Joseph’s School had introduced Taekwondo for girls focusing on self defence and
empowerment. Seeing its benefits it was made mandatory for both boys and girls later.
Since then we have witnessed our students grow in strength and confidence mastering their
art form.
One shining example of this dedication is Akshat Gupta, who earned his black belt in 2019.
Today, we have four more young and determined students – Aarti Yadav, Angel Priya,
Aradhya Singh and Atharv Singh – preparing for their black belt test in the upcoming session
of 2024-25.
In the previous year’s CBSE championship 12 of our talented students showcased their skills
with Aaradhya Singh winning a bronze medal. Building on that success, this year 10 of our
students participated in the same championship and brought home an impressive tally of
medals. Furthermore, 3 of these talented athletes advanced to the nationals where they
secured another bronze medal.
Today, our young Taekwondo enthusiasts are ready to showcase the power and agility that
this martial art demands. So, let’s welcome our talented performers with a big round of
applause who are instructed by Mr. Santosh Kr. as they demonstrate the spirit of
Taekwondo.
23. The Rise Of Phoenix
Om Ayush : Ladies and gentlemen, we have come to the pinnacle of our today’s program
that is – THE RISE OF PHEONIX. The Phoenix is a mythical bird which symbolizes
regeneration. Only one Phoenix exists at a time, and so when the bird felt its death was
near, it would build a nest of aromatic wood and set it on fire. But that’s not it’s end. This
immortal bird rises again from its own ashes and therefore lives forever.
Aibha : The Phoenix is a symbol of renewal, embodying the journey from démodé behaviors
and opinions towards a revitalized sense of self. Imagine standing at the edge of a great
transformation, much like the legendary Phoenix who finds itself at the crossroads of
destruction and resurrection. The old self - stuck in repetitive customs, outdated thinking,
and the delight of the familiar - is ready to let go.
Om Ayush : What’s holding us back? Fear of change? Past failures? The comfort of routine?
But here’s the exciting part : we are given the prospect to set it all aflame and spring up
anew.
Aibha : The “Rise of Phoenix” is about breaking free from those patterns that no longer
serve us. It’s like waking up from a deep sleep, realizing that there’s more to life than just
repeating the same actions. By daring to leave behind the elderly ways, we make room for
new possibilities. We create new wont, ones that nurture extension, pliability and creativity.
Om Ayush : The fire of transmutation, might seem intense, but it’s what fuels the rebirth.
It’s the courage to try, fail and then try again. It’s choosing to rewrite the script of who we
are, not based on the past but on the promise of a vivid, more zestful future.
Aibha : The embarking message of SJS for this perseptive congregation is “Transforming
ourselves to transform the society”.
Om Ayush : We, as an individual are capable of A CHANGE - a significant change which will
reshape us all to become a better community. It invites us to ignite these old habits and
beliefs in a metaphorical fire, allowing us to set free from them.
Aibha : This journey isn’t easy ; it demands bravery, self-awareness, and a willingness to
step into the unknown. But once we come out, we’re well-built, focused, and equipped to
pursue life with new vigor.
Om Ayush : We would like to present before you all, the students of class 9 th and 11th who
represent the immortality that this wonderful bird really possesses. We would also extend
our gratitude to Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, Mrs. Ligy T.O. , Mrs. Nancy Tagore, Mr. Anil Kumar
and Dr. Yogendra Tiwari, assisted by Mr. Mrityunjay Kumar, Mr. Jimmy Thomas, Mr. Nand Lal
Gupta and Mr. Nigin Paul. Thank you dear teachers.
