Writing Task – Group a (class 1f)

Write an argumentative essay in four paragraphs:

1. Introduction: Define the topic and explain its importance briefly.


2. Arguments FOR: Present the positive sides with examples or reasons.
3. Arguments AGAINST: Discuss the negative sides with examples or
reasons.
4. Conclusion: Summarize both sides and give your opinion with an
explanation.

Your essay should have a minimum of 170 words.

1. "Some people say that growing up in a difficult childhood
makes people stronger, but others think it causes long-term
problems."
2. "Some people say that traveling is the best way to learn about
the world, but others think it is just a way to relax."
