CRVO

The document is a medical report for a patient named Mustafa Ahmed, detailing an OCT assessment of the left macula conducted on April 15, 2025. The findings indicate above-normal retinal thickness, distorted foveal contour, and multiple cystic spaces, suggesting cystoid macular edema due to central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). The report concludes that further clinical correlation is needed for the diagnosis.

OCT ( Macula)
Thank you for referring this patient for OCT assessment for the left macula

Spectral Macular Cube & Line Scanning Were Performed

left EYE:

• the thickness map topography shows above-normal retinal thickness within the
central macular area (represented by red color ).
• central subfield thickness 404 microns.
• Distorted foveal contour with dome shaped swelling with a single-point thickness of
300 microns.
• Multiple hyporeflective cystic intra retinal spaces were detected, indicating cystoid
macular oedema.
• The outer 3 layers (ELM.IS/OS photoreceptor . RPE) are disrupted within the
foveal scan.
• NO PVD or VMT can be seen

Conclusion
LEFT EYE : cystoid macular oedema due to CRVO FOR FURTHUR CLINICAL
CORRELATION.
