Sci Blaze:is set to be a science Olympiad for students from grade 7 to AS-LEVEL, and is expected to

take place from 17th to 19th February ,2023 at our campus it contains unique modules with
situations that test students knowledge of science , logical reasoning and creativity all together

It will consist of a total of 9 modules 5 of which are STEM and 4 are general modules STEM Modules:

1)Molecular Molasses: Molecular Molasses tests ones knowledge of the periodic table , basic
chemistry and the ability of conducting lab experiments this module also consists of interesting ways
to learn more about the subject such as the element hunt

2)Experimenters Excellence: this module tests ones basic physics ,knowledge of circuits and the
ability of putting theory into practice, it will encourage envisioned and creative ideas and is a good
field for people who’d love to study engineering in the future.

3)Dalton’s DNA: this is a biology module that contains loads of exciting lab experiments and tests of
basic knowledge on how the body works, hope to obtain knowledge more about the anatomy.

4) Control C++ : this modules puts your knowledge of computer science to the test , it involves the
knowledge of a CPU, the power of one and the brain power of an AI to code and design a stunning
website.

5)Aristotle’s Arithmacy : this is a module that involves solving mathematical problems through
interesting tasks such as the treasure hunt , it also examines your mental maths through a quiz and
mathematical clue-do.

General Modules:

1)Offense Ointment: this module will provide the participants with a challenging murder mystery
riddle where they will examine the crime scenes , interrogate the prime suspects and make their
report like real life detectives

2)Sarcast Sequel : this is a fandom module that will test the participants on their general knowledge
about popular movies , shows and books

3)Bipolar Bootstrapping: this is a module of Psychology, from mental disorders to psychological


issues all of them will be discussed, students must be able to recognize the mental disorders, as well
as another fun psychological surprise.

4) Van Goghs Vanity: In this module the candidates will be tested in their creativity, their will to
create and how ravishing and stunningly they can place some paints and colors on a canvas.

• All modules will be set , conducted and judged by a module head and a co-head from A-Levels only

• Each module has its own head and co-head and secretary general • There are general volunteers
to guide the participants

• An executive council will be appointed from the college section to manage the social events and
general Olympiad events consisting of 4 volunteers.

The executive council is answerable to the President and The Vice President.

General Arrangements

• Other than the modules social events such as a carnival and jamming session will be arranged
• The jamming session will have an additional fees of about Rs 500/-

• Marketing will be done through a proper social media page and students from any school or
private are allowed to participate moreover other schools will be invited to participate

• A website will be made to take care of all registrations

• All teams will get their own id cards for all members

• All participants will come with their respective teams of a minimum 3 people and a maximum of 6
people

• All participants have to pay the registration fees of Pkr 1500 each participant and 1000 registration
fees excluding concert tickets, for Roots Bahria Town Karachi, the prices are 1500 per person and
1500 per delegation.

• Each team has to participate in 2 STEM and 2 general module Format There will be a total of 3 days
of the olympiad Where each modules will proceed with their qualified participants to conduct
tougher tasks each day

Day 1

• Opening ceremony

• Participants get familiar with their module areas and perform their tasks • Later a carnival will be
arranged with food stalls and other activities

Day 2

After the judgement of module heads eliminations will be done and the qualified teams proceed
with their final round, normal hectic workday for both participants and volunteers.

Day 3

• All modules will have their final rounds and teams with the best results from all 3 days will be
awarded • A proper closing ceremony will be hosted to present the winners with their awards

• After the closing a social event such as a jamming session will be held with an additional ticket cost
