APPENDIX 1: PLOTS DETAILS AND DEVELOPMENT CHARGES
All plots located at Pharasito II, bordering Rumphi Teachers Training College. Land usage include residential
purposes, commercial purposes, and institutional purposes. The sizes are as follows:

a) Residential Purposes
i. High Density: 15m x 30m (450m2)

ii. Medium Density: 20m x 30m (600m2)

iii. Low Density: 25m x 40m (1,000m2)

b) Commercial Purposes
20m x 40m ((800m2)

c) Institutional Purposes
40m x 60m (2,400m2)

Once offered a plot of your desired usage, expect the development charges as follows:

a) Residential Plots
i. High Density: MK1,200,000.00

ii. Medium Density: MK1,500,000.00

iii. Low Density: MK2,200,000.00

b) Commercial Plots
MK4,000,000.00

c) Institutional Plots
MK7,000,000.00
