Youth Chairperson’s Report (2024–2025)

Greetings in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

It is an honor and privilege to present this report, highlighting our journey, impact, and
aspirations as the youth of Next-Gen Worship Center for the period 2024–2025.

1. Church Theme

“One Church, One Message, One Mission, and Many Nations.”


This theme has guided all our programs, activities, and objectives in alignment with the church’s
vision.

2. Achievements & Goals for the Coming Year

Christian Education

 Consistent Sunday youth lessons after service.


 Bi-monthly youth fellowships (though not consistently held).
 Monthly themes for focused lessons and spiritual growth.
 Junior Youth Class (ages 11–15) meets weekly on Sundays.
 Held two impactful youth-led services.
 Successfully attended:
o National Youth Camp in Choma with 63 youths.
o District Camp with 23 youths.
 Developed a 2025 Youth Events Calendar.
 Appointed a Youth Christian Education Director to enhance lesson planning.
 Ongoing mentorship program for youth development.
 Successfully hosted a ladies' conference.

2025/2026 Goals:
 Launch the “Girls with Purpose” program (progressing well).
 Develop a Teacher’s Calendar for the year.
 Target 100 youths for both national and district youth camps.

3. Evangelism

We have worked closely with the church’s Evangelism Team, subcommittees, and Sports
Ministry to carry out outreach programs. Full details will be covered in the Evangelism
Department Report.

2025/2026 Evangelism Goal:

 Develop evangelism activities into self-sustaining programs.


As our Senior Pastor often reminds us, “You can do more good with money than
without.”

4. Resource Mobilization

Several fundraising initiatives were successfully executed:

 Drinks project
 T-shirt sales
 Car wash
 Monthly contributions
 Fundraising concerts

Details of income and expenditure are included in the Treasurer’s Report and Projects
Director’s Report.

2025/2026 Resource Mobilization Goals:

 Invest K15,000 in a Government Bond.


 Establish a Fundraising Subcommittee for structured financial planning.

5. Church Planting

The long-term goal remains to plant a church every two years, though for now, focus is being
placed on strengthening the mother church and its existing daughter congregations.

6. Infrastructure Development

Youth members have actively:


 Contributed toward the Wesleyan University Project.
 Registered as volunteers for church-related developments.

7. Challenges

Though not exhaustively detailed in this report, we recognize several ongoing challenges:

 Inconsistent youth participation


 Limited financial and logistical resources

These are being addressed progressively with the help of leadership and member commitment.

8. Departmental Highlights

Sports Ministry:

Used as an evangelism platform and a means to promote health and fellowship.


Youth participated in:

 Friendly matches with Chi-Papa Secondary School


 Games with El-Shaddai Pilgrim Church
 National Youth Sports Programs

Charity Department:

We maintained our commitment to supporting those in need, contributing to funeral expenses


and looking to expand our outreach beyond funerals in future initiatives.

9. Conclusion

All glory to God Almighty for sustaining us.
