DAY 2: HANOI
Arrive at Hanoi International Airport, Vietnam.
Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be welcomed by your tour guide at Noi
Bai Airport and transferred to your accommodation in Hanoi capital to
check in for two nights.
Did you know: Vietnam is famous for several things, from ancient towns,
UNESCO heritage sites, and serene beaches to scrumptious Pho and different
kinds of coffee.
Annam, which originated as a Chinese name in the seventh century, was the
common name of the country during the colonial period. Nationalist writer
Phan Bội Châu revived the name "Vietnam" in the early 20th century.
Leave Hanoi in the morning for Halong Bay, the World Heritage Area of
outstanding natural beauty on the ocean.
Upon arrival, get on the private boat cruising around the islands, islets,
caves, and grottos. Enjoy a seafood lunch on the boat before taking a
short excursion to Thien Cung cave or Dau Go cave.
Fun Fact: Ha Long Bay today is the result of long-term geological evolution,
influenced by many factors. The most remarkable events are the formation of
the limestone layer more than 1,000m thick during the Carboniferous and
Permian period (240 to 340 million years ago); and the development of the
Halong depression during the Neogene period (10 to 26 million years ago). The
erosion process forming the limestone plain was most active in the Quaternary
Pleistocene epoch (11,000 to 2 million years ago).
This morning, start with a visit to the Ethnology Museum, depicting all
aspects of life, activities, customs, and habits of the 54 ethnic groups of
Vietnam. Enjoy lunch is at local restaurant.

Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in
Vietnam! Stop to visit the Cham Museum, which is the open air
collection of Cham sculptures, which depict and give a better
understanding of the Cham Culture.
Enjoy lunch, thereafter, take a walk through the beautiful old town, see
the Japanese covered bridge, the Chinese Assembly Halls, as well as
some typical 18th century Vietnamese houses. Wander through the
vibrant riverside market where you can also see local residents raise
silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An's burgeoning textile industry.
Did you know: Khai Dinh tomb is considered a breakthrough among ancient
tomb systems by its own distinctive design. Unlike other royal tombs, the tomb
of Khai Dinh features two life size bronze statues of its eponymous king, one
sitting and one standing. The sitting statue is put on a golden throne in the Khai
Thanh sanctuary.
Check into your hotel, settle in and enjoy dinner later this evening.
Check out and transfer to Da Nang Airport for your short flight to Ho
Chi Minh City! On arrival enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, before your
afternoon activities start!

After breakfast depart for My Tho. On arrival, board your private boat
and cruise along the small creek to the Mekong River estuary, to
Phoenix Island and stop at a garden restaurant for Vietnamese lunch.

quiet villages in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm,
and taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional
music, wander around a local distillery, explore the local coconut candy
production process, and taste candy & coconut pulp. Return transfer to
Ho Chi Minh City.
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Fun Fact: The Mekong River is one of the most significant and longest rivers in
